Excellent speech by Sarah Palin! During the follow-up Q & A session, she made the statement:
"Its time a woman became president of the United States of America". Hardly a terrible thought, and the statement was probably used as a cheerful way to say
Sarah Palin should be president. I'm sure the crowd got it. Unfortunately, others did not.
I use the word, 'unfortunately', because on other threads the anti-Palin people went ballistic and have posted hundreds of messages, mostly denouncing Palin for engaging in 'gender politics'. From there, the threads devolve into a what amounts to a Palin-bashing orgy of sorts. I suspect a lot of liberal trolls are in the mix but there are plenty of anti-Palin posters that are likely conservatives that just don't like Sarah Palin, for any number of reasons I'm sure they feel strongly about. So be it. Still, her speech was great and just the kind of optimistic, common sense approach that Palin uses - and some hate her for. You can't please everyone.

Does anyone have a link to the speech itself?
It reads well, it's a good speech that resonates with the positives of free market entrepreneurs and the importance of energy policy in bolstering our economy, likely the main issue of 2012. I'd just like to be able to send it around if it sounds as good as it reads.

Is it PDSers here on FR or Beltway Elitists? FReepers who fear losing something(power, money, goodies) if Palin prevails. You have to figure that GOP insiders post here trying to disrupt things in favor of their candidate.(who they refuse to name or promote) Stealth stinkers. :-p
Oh I agree it is the elite. One subset of the elite is a large group of republicans. The revolution that is taking shape is an anti-elite movement. Some of them know it and are fighting for their power and privilege. The remainder are too clueless. The Republicans who have allied with the left are the pure scum of the earth.
The PDSers fall in one of the aforementioned categories.

I read that thread. Many newbies, but no surprise. PDS was alive and thriving. I thought I was at DU and needed to shower afterwards.

Palin TV almost always has video of Sarah's speeches.

Great speech!
And it didn’t cost two thousand dollars a second.

I suspect a lot of liberal trolls are in the mix but there are plenty of anti-Palin posters that are likely conservatives that just don't like Sarah Palin, for any number of reasons I'm sure they feel strongly about. Well, keep in mind that there is a strong cadre of professional DNC operatives whose job is to show up on Palin live feeds, blogs, and forums and vandalize them. They infest her Facebook page, and aim to demoralize and disgust her supporters.
It's Psy-Ops and cyberwarfare of the worst sort, which the libs mastered in 2008 using David Axelrod's brand of "Chicago Way" Alinksyite astroturfing.

This is a superb speech, and you know, I’m not yet convinced she’s the “one,” but this kind of effort shows her competence in an international arena.

The Constitution, as constructed, gave only limited and enumerated powers to the Federal government - and reserved all others to the States and the people.
There is nothing factually incorrect about her statement.

She hit the nail on the head as far as energy. 0marxo is doing all he can to choke US energy. Where can be heard other conservative voices opposing the green energy marxist?

I think you have given an important clue to Sarah Palin's intentions when you quoted Sarah, "Its time a woman became president of the United States of America." Her speech gave another clue, and it was an important message to countries around the world who impede their society when they keep women in economic as well as social burqas. I read between the lines when she spoke these words:
"We are on the side of religious tolerance & women's rights! (And in recent years, India has helped lead by example in the area of women's education by narrowing the gender gap in women's literacy. You've helped remind the world that a culture cannot advance when it holds back half its creative & intellectual power!)"
"And its political power! I admire India's tradition of strong women leaders - at home & abroad! In fact, last year, I had the honour of supporting a strong American woman of Indian descent when I endorsed the candidacy of South Carolina's new governor - their first female - Nikki Haley!"
It is the Left in America who have a most twisted view of feminine freedom to reach their goals of individual accomplishment. To the women who succeed, they attribute the most pornographic images, complete with knee-pads, abortion and whoring their way to the top. A Sarah Palin candidacy will put a spotlight on this culture of death that is running this Great Ship American into the iceberg.
"2012 can't come soon enough," to quote Sarah Palin.

The Palin threads are much shorter now. I know .. or understand ... that pissant is no longer with us for now, but I have a list of at least ten plus PDSers who faithfully annoyed us on every Palin thread.
I’m sure they’re not afraid of being zotted for expressing an honest opinion, or are they?

To release creative energy, we need to do on a national level what President Ronald Reagan did in the 1980's. It's what I believed in as a 'Reforming Mayor & Governor' in my state, because I want the free economic choices of ordinary men & women to power the marketplace - rather than distant bureaucrats thinking they can plan & grow an economy by "government decree". (That just doesn't work!)
She is running!
