As a thank-you to its most famous customer, Amtrak is renaming the train station in Wilmington, Del., after stimulus sheriff Vice President Joseph R. Biden - after the project received $20 million in stimulus money and came in $5.7 million over the initial announced budget.

sad we have to pay for anything named after that con man
Maybe some kind conservatives in that area will decorate it for us.
They should have named it Plugs.
I can hear the conductor now as he approaches this station....Next stop Plugs.
Beat me to it!
Yep, Plugs Station it is.
The sad thing is that now that Biden is out of the Senate we have the dumbest man in the Senate here in PA. Bob Casey, a legitimate Dunce.
Only 25 percent over ‘budget’. Willie Green be happy.
If I remember correctly Biden once said he went home to Delaware every evening.
I would just like to know how much we the taxpayers have coughed up so Uncle Joe could ride the rails home every day.
Both born in Scranton, PA. Must be inhaling that anthracite dust!

BTW,
The train broke down on the way to the ceremony. The CEO of Amtrak had to jump out of the train and into a car to get to the ceremony on time.
I rode trains for years. Last foray into Amtrak yeilded similar issues as described in the article below. Amtrak sucks. So when we get high speed rail, it will suck, only faster.
I would rather fly & deal with the TSA than take Amtrak.
I’ll stick to my car.
I think “grifter” is more appropriate. He found a pot full of our money and settled in. They just keep pissing our money away and we just tsk tsk. Deplorable.
