He doesn’t WANT to be engaged. He loves playing president but doesn’t want to do the work.

Congressman Barney Frank, Massachusetts Democrat, believes criticism of Mr. Obama's sideline activities is petty and thinks it's "silly" for Republicans to go after the President on the issue, but he also points out that it's just as silly for Democrats to attack a Republican president over recreation time. Lets check back in on this in 2013 and see if Barney has changed his mind.

RE :”
President Barack Obama is getting criticism for not being fully engaged with national and international issues and, instead, focusing on more recreational activities like golf, basketball brackets, and a trip to Rio de Janeiro.
New York real estate mogul Donald Trump told Fox News Channel's Neil Cavuto, “For him to be playing golf the day of and the day after... I think is very inappropriate... The image of him on a golf course while Japan is in the kind of trouble, this is catastrophic trouble, I think is totally inappropriate, and I say that as a person who owns some of the greatest golf courses in the world!”
Let them eat cake! Michelle obama is finally proud of this country for electing her husband.

I brought up the vacations Obama was taking, with some liberal friends, and they instantly spouted off “Bush went to Camp David X amount of days!”. I asked them what does Bush have to do with anything I just said, and they just keep spouting that line off. Obama supporters can’t admit their guy has done something wrong. AT all. I’m hoping the rest of America sees Him differently.

Dems confident Obama to be more engaged on national issues The Dems are also confident that Keynesian economic stimulus will work this time, even though it has failed for the past two years and every other time it was tried. They are confident that ObamaCare will produce bureaucracies that are nurturing, efficient, helpful, money-saving, and nothing like our motor vehicle departments, our IRS, our postal service, and the vast majority of our other government agencies. Why not be confident that the results from Obama Year Three and Obama Year Four will be nothing like Obama Year One and Obama Year Two?
No doubt these same optimists went to Halloween Three and Four, expecting something like Bambi instead of something like the first two Halloween movies.

Doesn’t really matter to them if he is or isn’t engaged. Big Media will cover for him and tell the sheeple that he’s handling everything perfectly.

That headline pretty much says it all about Obama. They’d never tolerate even the appearance of a disengaged Republican president yet their boy Obama just needs more time to get into the game?

hey, obammie is all over his ncaa brackets, what else can he do?
btw, I hear he picked all 4 number 1 seeds to make it to final 4. very sad if true, even in a trivial contest of no consequence he cannot make a decision.
