They never left.
News media lied.
They are still there and back at work.
Things are pretty much going as planned after a 9.0 earthquake and 40’ tsunami - followed by a few fires and cracked concrete - explosions - and other problems. Yes they withdrew about 750 of their employees.
But again - not a big deal. They only need a few to work on these small issues that remain.
By this time next week it will all be over. The media will move on to the next story - perhaps covering the towns that were completely wiped out by water. Tens of thousands of people died by the floods. How many have died from the nuke leak? None?
Maybe a couple from the explosion.
This is certainly not a big deal as far as meltdowns go. The term is way overused.
They could all completely melt down and it wouldn’t be a big deal.
The news media did not lie. I watched the news conference...
Would you stay in a Holiday Inn twenty miles away from the plant for 20K? How about 100K?
Thanks, too funny I needed a laugh :)
Good point. Form the reports I have seen the media is not doing a lot of reporting on the towns wiped off the map or other issues. Most of it is on a still unknown situation and 3 or 4 of the approx. 30 reactors in Japan from what I have found.
