Interesting, and all these “Nuclear Arm Chair Warriors” here on the FreeRepublic have been saying don’t worry, there’s no danger, this is nothing. I’m erring on the side of caution despite all thier macho BS.

Some of these "Nuclear Arm Chair Warriors" you refer to are people like me, who have worked either with Navy or civilian nuclear power plants. I have experience in both going back 25 years. IOW, some of us DO know what we're talking about, and your histrionics serve no useful purpose.

It is being dubbed Hiroshima’s revenge. Japans’ contingency plan for a nuclear plant meltdown is to allow the radioactive material to vent and escape with a high probability that the deadly cloud would be carried out to sea. The downside is that most of the radioactive dust and smoke would rise and be carried on the jet stream to western North America. Washington, Oregon and California will take the brunt of the fallout.
