One of the co-hosts said, "Well, it's a 40 year old plant that survived one of the worst earthquakes in history. And there are reports that this might be overblown; that little radiation has been released."
"Oh no, no. This is far from over."
Can't anyone think rationally when it comes to nuclear power?
Chris Wallace usually has his panties in a twist.
I always thought he wore a thong... 8^/
Thanks AB. Buckeyes win Big Ten tourney today for #1 overall NCAA seed.
Morning AB and thanks so much for the thread wek after week.
There is a lot going on this morning and FR has most of it as usual. Here’s just two pieces worthy of checking out.:
This one tells of a Rabbi and his family who were slain while they slept by you know who. It finally exposes who the enemy really is in graphic detail. It’s here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2687922/posts?page=3
the other is an update on the Fukushima plant meltdown that I noticed JimRob edited so it got my attention:
http:///www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2687981/posts
Both are worth checking out.
I’m gonna check out Chuck U.(the lizard) Shoomer in a few minutes and see how many chatting points he is carrying around today.
Going to mass this morning-singing in the choir. Will join in upon return.
Thank you AB, all....and fine morning to everyone.
See ya later.
TG, All...
That’s something we all need to pay attention to and so glad already we’re keeping close ear.
Cause you know they’re going to want to paint this as the death of nuclear reactors...years ago they did by a fake movie, dear Lord could we have gotten any dumber.
How long can the Lamestream keep any influence at all when most everybody’s on to their game...BEFORE IT EVEN STARTS?
Absolutely spot on, Pat. I expect the Leftist lawyers will use this to push earthquake and tsunami environmental impact statements for nuke plants even in Kansas.
It might be well impossible to hold back the fear and propaganda from the Left.
These people will kill the West.
Welcome to the De-evolution of Man.
LOL!!
Laughing cause you got that just right.
Can’t wait to see this later...
WALLACE MELTDOWN....WORSE THAN NUCLEAR MELTDOWN!
Thanks, AB...slept a little more after I got up..ha.
What about the GOP getting AHEAD of the leftist nuclear trashing and having a “hearing” on our nuclear energy plants, etc ..that would counter the lunacy with calm, scientific people and of course our navy with the subs, etc.
the Left is going to do their Hysteria Dance anyways..why not get ahead of it?
Or...am I assuming our citizens are more rational than they are, ha?
Mornin AB and thanks once more for this thread.
The little radiation in Japan, so far, is testimony to how well these power plants can withstand harsh events. Yeah, I know the left will try to use this against new US nuclear power plants but it won’t work as well as it has in the past. The one power plant failure happened with the one that was something like 30 or 40 years old. Besides, the leftist Democrats are going to use everything they can regardless of what happened in Japan.
In other news, it’s hard to stay civil watching the out of state union organizers in Wisconsin gloating over their 100,000 protesters. In the long run this will hurt unions more than help them, IMHO.
Every Sunday we see this line-up of mediocrities and sometimes human garbage that is culled from our so-called “leadership” in Washington—trotted out on vapid talk shows to spew the “going agenda” no matter how inane it is.
Every Sunday the spinelessness of our society is on full display. The ABSOLUTE ABSENCE of moral authority or clarity—right there, for all to see.
Men who aren’t men, feckless gutless spineless dullards who condescend to the moronic public who put them in power via a completely dysfunctioning “democratic process.”
A process that we actually have the unmitigated gall to recommend to others around the world!
Grifters, that’s what you get on Sunday morning in what’s left of America.
That is the key, isn't it? I'm not to confident, given that. And, they don't call the Republicans the "Stupid Party" for nothing.
So, we'll all get to suffer because the Left has an agenda and the people are easily led by base fears and emotions. When energy gets so cost prohibitive that we start seeing brownouts and shutdowns when the French (The French!!!) are getting most of their electricity from nuclear power, then we'll know we've arrived at that special point in time.
Which is, of course, the point that a mighty people and nation degrade and become a has-been, a land of what once was; like Great Britain, Spain, Rome, Egypt... All once mighty powers in their day that allowed decadence, laziness and stupidity to overwhelm them.
I think it could even be worse. The Mayans and the people of Angor Wat come to mind. Once they were a mighty empire, too, and highly civilized. But their pyramids and temples are now covered in jungle, their broad avenues and roads are animal trails or oxcart paths, and their descendants have no clue as to what they once were.
It could happen to us. There is no promise of permanence to our society.
" ... and He will raise you up on eagle's wings ..."
