Although I imagine that 4500 miles is a HUGE buffer. Figure dilution AND the path of the prevailing wind currents, too.

Being in Seattle I’m probably near the path. BUT - “dilution is the solution to pollution”! That, and I think it was 36 hours travel time on the jet stream, but lots of the nasties have half-lives measured in hours I think.
