Opponents of New York Republican Rep. Peter King’s hearings on domestic Muslim extremism have tried to make the controversy into a civil rights battle. The more the left obfuscates the issue, the more dangerous the threat becomes.
One line of argument is that the House Homeland Security Committee hearings are unfairly discriminatory because they don’t address other domestic terror threats, such as from purportedly violent militia groups. Rep. Al Green, Texas Democrat, bizarrely contended that failing to investigate the Ku Klux Klan somehow amounted to a defense of that organization. “Over a hundred years of terrorism, why not investigate them too?” he lectured The Washington Times’ Kerry Picket. But - perhaps unbeknownst to Mr. Green - the KKK and related groups have been and continue to be investigated thoroughly by the FBI and have been the subject of congressional inquiries dating back to the days of the House Un-American Activities Committee.
In 2009, a spate of documents from the Department of Homeland Security singled out race-focused groups - as well as military veterans - as the Obama administration’s primary investigative focus. These organizations have been so thoroughly infiltrated by law-enforcement authorities that - as the old joke goes - at a typical cell meeting, the undercover FBI agent and undercover ATF agent are waiting for the undercover U.S. Marshal to arrive. A hearing on the threat of Islamic extremist groups in America is simply giving equal time.

....I would go even further....black Dems are an Islamic 5th column...I first noticed this when a Freeper posted notice of Islamic money pouring into then Rep Cynthia McKinney’s(D-GA) re-election campaign...this happened on 9-12; the day after the attack....immediately McKinney started talking up the ‘don’t rush to judgement’ ploy.
I knew a friend in high places, in Morrocco, he said the Gov’t works REAL hard to keep extremism out of mainline religion of Islam. That they in secret share the same fear that fanatical Jihadist movement is overtaking and moving in upon the moderates. It’s always better to play SAFE, than sorry. Prudence is what is needed. Hind sight is always better than foresight. Europe has a hand written notes upon their Wall of HISTORY. DOOMED.

Many Muslim governments know the biggest threat to them is not Western influence but their own Muslim nut-jobs. That is why we supported Iraq vs. Iran, why the West supported Jordan, and why Syria and Libya were tolerated. They were just as interested in destroying the bastards who would fly planes into office buildings, and had a much freer hand than we did to accomplish it.
Once the Islamic fundamentalists take over a country “moderate” Islam is banned - look at Iran & Saudi Arabia.
As long as black thugs are killing Arab grocers and cabbies in stick-ups, I don’t think there is much possibility of that. Muslims know that America’s “Black Muslims” are a political organization; do any of them even read Arabic? The Koran is not allowed to be translated into other languages. Outside of a few simple phrases, do Amercan black Muslims speak Arabic at all?
When was the last time the KKK flew a jumbo jet into a tall building? Thats what King should have told Green.

Qadaffi did fund the nation of Islam. And the tearful Congressman Ellison joined the Nation of Islam back in college and then went to the MMM rally in DC demanding reparations and so on.
Funny thing is, while the lib congressman complains of the KKK, he either doesn’t know about or is omiting that the KKK and the NoI get along just fine because the NoI’s leadership and the Klan met and forged a pact some years ago to leave eachother alone. for that matter, the Nation of Islam even had the head of the American Nazi Party, George Rockwell, speak at one of their conventions and while there he offered what to hm was great praise to the head of NoI, calling him the black Adolf Hitler. So I don’t think the Democrats really want too much investigating going on of any of these groups for fear of what it would reveal to the public about some Democrats’ ties. Democrats from Ellison to Dick Durbin know full well what’s under those rocks.
