Doesn’t seem like the waves in Hawaii will be that bad. However, if I had a tsunami warning for my area, I don’t think I’d be hanging around the coastal area (as it is apparent people are doing in the live feed), no matter how high their vantage point happens to be.

This is the second false alarm in one year. After about the 10th one I bet you’d be pretty inclined to hang at the beach.

Under warning here on central Oregon Coast. Local radio station advising if you're 50+ feet above sea level, stay put, so that's what we're doing.

Portlant TV station reporting that lookie-loo idiots are heading out here from the Valley.
