As bad as Northridge was and it was BAD, just imagine if it had happened instead of 4:30 in the morning, at 1pm in the afternoon, the death toll would have been much higher. We didn’t have power for three days..I can’t even imagine a 8.9 quake..this whole darn state would be in the ocean..I don’t blame you for moving to Texas, Texas sounds like a great place to live

As I have mentioned, I live 3 miles from the Northridge epicenter. It was pretty damn bad — I thought this was The Big One and that we would die. Seriously, I thought we were about to die.

I can only imagine what is happening for the Japanese folk...
