I still remember every moment of when the 1994 Northridge quake happened...

I lived in Richmond, CA in '89 (SF Bay Area) and then had moved to Yorba Linda in '94 and remember both like they were yesturday, I can not imagine either of those quakes being worse, but an 8.8...My God!!! Plus a 13 foot Tsunami to boot!

As bad as Northridge was and it was BAD, just imagine if it had happened instead of 4:30 in the morning, at 1pm in the afternoon, the death toll would have been much higher. We didn’t have power for three days..I can’t even imagine a 8.9 quake..this whole darn state would be in the ocean..I don’t blame you for moving to Texas, Texas sounds like a great place to live
