I still remember every moment of when the 1994 Northridge quake happened and that was a 6.8-6.9..I can’t imagine ever living through an 8.8..prayers for everyone in Japan and all those who are affected by the Tsunami warning

This is a HUGE quake!

They raised the number, its not a 6.9 anymore, they raised it to an 8.8

I am ok over here.. quakes usually don’t phase me.. but this one shook me up pretty good... it’s been an ongoing minor tremble for about an hour now... about every 7-10 minutes, a BIG wave happens.
I am still shaking literally from it.

I hope that the other freepers here in Japan can check in to tell us they are alright.

I hope you’re okay! A friend of mine got caught in a moderate quake in Mexico City and it shook her up really badly .... post-traumatic stress and all.
