Sarah Palins unfavorable rating is off the charts.

The former Alaska governors numbers are astonishingly upside-down, according to a new Bloomberg poll showing a 32 percentage point spread between those who have an unfavorable rating of Palin and those who view her favorably.
Of the 60 percent in the poll who have an unfavorable opinion of Palin, more than half of them 38 percent among the whole survey said they have a very unfavorable view of Palin.
Her very unfavorable rating is higher than the total favorability ratings of Newt Gingrich, Donald Trump and Chris Christie.
The new poll is a dip from a December Bloomberg poll showing Palin with a net favorable rating of 33 percent and a net unfavorable rating of 57 percent.
The survey is just one more indicator that if Palin were to run, she'd face a very strong headwind whenever trying to reach out to voters beyond her hardcore supporters.
More people surveyed had an opinion of Palin than any other politician surveyed except for Barack Obama, indicating that her numbers are not likely to swing wildly one way or the other.
The poll of 1,001 adults was conducted March 4-7 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
It’s Politico what do you expect.
If it needs to be said, I'll say it: Sara Palin is not Ronald Reagan. Until there is a hostage crisis for Obama to deal with, Palin still needs something more than the deficit to work with.
That's not a fair analogy. Hillary Clinton didn't lose the nomination due to a popular vote. She lost the nomination due to a manipulated caucus system.
You get the same reaction with Fox News, Rush, Boortz, (fill in the blank with your favorite Conservative). When you ask them to tell you why, specifically, they can't do it or, more often, will launch into personal attacks that have no basis in fact whatsoever.....
The lesson to be drawn from THAT was the very thing some of us here on FR were trying to warn people about at the time -- the GOP was stupidly using the criteria of "somebody who can beat Hillary!" in their panicked desire to determine the "best" GOP candidate, instead of "somebody who will hold the banner high for the Republican party as being a true, effective ANTIDOTE and ALTERNATIVE to the Democrat party's big-government liberalism.
When the GOP chooses a candidate based on what person they think the candidate will be running against, they're setting themselves up to be manipulated by the opposition.
THAT was the lesson that should have been learned, but it hasn't -- already, many Republicans who should know better are seeking "anybody who can beat Obama!" I think there is a very high probability that Obama won't even get the Dem nomination. So it will behoove the Republican party to start looking for a candidate who can communicate to the American people that the Republican PARTY is the party that will work to get government off their backs, out of their personal lives, and out of their pocketbooks, and to hell with whatever idiot Democrat is chosen to run against him or her.
The truth is that we really have no idea who that idiot is going to be; the only thing we know is that it will be a liberal idiot.
Didn't anybody tell you that that's not the way things work around here? You are not allowed to support Palin, and at the same time find positive things to say about Gingrich (or any of the other candidates). Right now, the only other guy you can like along with Palin is Christie, because he's defeinitely not running.
Personally, I would prefer Michelle Bachmann to Palin.
I'm going to need some justification for that one.
Yeah, Bloomberg. Now, that’s unbiased polling. I bet these “adults” were all polled in Manhattan too.
Honest evaluations such as yours are not welcome in Palin threads. Expect to be flamed.
"Sarah Palin is so stupid!"
"Yeah, she is! Totally! I desperately need a latte."
"Yeah, like Sarah Palin is the most stupid person in the whole country! Is my skirt short enough?"
Remember that the media can win its character assassination war and still lose an election. We cannot cannot cannot live and die by the media.
Ridiculous. You do understand that there are some things that Romney would be better at than than Palin, right?
E’zactly how I read it.
Thoughts from a public school student:
Tina Fey, Saran Palin, like, whats the difference? Ummm. Theyre all politicians, right?
Like, in school, we like have this one poster that says, Sarah Palin is really, really dumb-tell your parents not to vote for her.
So we like totally obey! Its not that we want to but they keep telling us stuff over and over until it sounds true.
My favorite poster is, Freedom is slavery and slavery is freedom it has , like, psychedelic tie-dye in the background. Retro!
The government is always right when the Democrats are running it is a good one. It has pictures of ponies running and cute little frogs!
They made us memorize, Arbeit Macht Frei for a quiz, or something. I think its French or maybe Latin. Who cares, right?
Anyways, the teacher wont tell us what it means and he always smirks when we ask and he says, Youll find out soon enough then he laughs like that guy in the vampire movie.
Kinda creepy, yeah.
Only if you believe the ability to stab (metaphorically) between the shoulder blades and twist is a skill a president needs in his/her toolbox.
Actually, no, I don't think there is anything important that Romney could do better than Palin, Bachmann, or DeMint. Romney is not a whole lot better than Obama in terms of what he would actually do, and he would definitely not cut spending or disassemble ObamaCare. Only candidates who will actually cut spending and completely eliminate ObamaCare will get my vote, and that does not include Romney regardless of how his handlers package his candidacy.
Please enlighten me. Exactly what do you think that Romney can do well that I should weigh in his favor against his major weaknesses in controlling spending and restoring limited government?
What an absurd thing to say. I’m going to buy an iPad and I have eminent sense, unlike yourself who insults people for no reason.
I am so sick and tired of you anti-Apple thugs insulting us for no other reason than the choosing of our computer hardware.
Do I insult you for driving a Dodge? For owning a Kohler faucet? No...yet you go out of your way to insult me, a fellow conservative, a fellow gun-owning, pro-life, politically active Freeper for no other reason than what computer I will buy next.
You people really need to grow up, recognize fellow conservatives as being allies in the fight for freedom that we are all engaged in, and drop the vitriol.
Ed
No, seriously: You do get that Palin can not possibly be better at everything that Romney, right? I have little use for the man, but for one thing, he's clearly smarter than Palin. He's smarter than Reagan too. So is Obama.
RE: “A couple of libs I know hate her. It is almost funny, the foaming and frothing.”
and.............

.....Do we all know the same group of libs? Honestly, what you describe is exactly what I have experienced with the libs I must deal with............
