The capitol is being stormed, again.
The guy talking now.....just wow. Offspring of a 1960’s Madison hippie couple who never left the scene...
Throw the protestors asses out in the snow and cold. New snow today in Madison. That will disperse the crowd.
UW also starts spring break on Friday - the kids are gone all next week. Fewer useful idiots to stoke the protests.
March 9, 2011 Protesters are locking the Capitol doors shut from the inside using metal handcuffs, Meade reports from the scene.
He told me that just now, by phone. He got out, and is warning others not to go in. Obviously, it's a terrible fire hazard to make it so people cannot get out of the building easily. Presumably, protesters think it's a good idea to keep the police out, but it is dangerously stupid.
ADDED: Meade called back to say, some of the doors are handcuffed shut and some are wide open. "ANYBODY CAN GET IN AND ANYBODY CAN BRING ANYTHING IN. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SECURITY WHATEVER."
So from the Democrat thug point of view, the way to block the bill is to prevent the Assembly from meeting. Who will clear the way for regular legislative business, if anyone? Tomorrow will be very interesting.
It is a direct blow at one of the main props of the Democrat Party, Union money. It is a HUGE step towards having fair elections across the whole nation. Now the RATs will not be able to just seize millions of dollars from workers to use in their campaigns. Go after the trial lawyers next and the RATs will have hugh problems.
You are entirely correct as to the significance of this move.
From the rat reaction youd think that WI just outlawed communism.
POST OF THE DAY! Excellent.
I predicted three weeks ago that all the unions nationwide would join the strike and shut the nation down.
Lookout!!
The Cops better realize quick that the Commies are using them. If they are too dumb to remember that these are the same Clowns whom would just as soon throw bricks as them come the next issue.
If they lose the the true Americans (us) that support them (to this point)...it’s going to get ugly.
2 words ... NATIONAL GUARD
... call’em in tonight, cause it’s going to take hours to clear the place. After that, hire a private security outfit, since the union police cannot be trusted anymore.
I fear that you are right on with your prediction. My deepest fear is that our side will be slim in numbers, when the pedal hits the metal - much like the sixties.
“These mob invasions and destruction must be stopped, but I wonder if the Democrats are trying to provoke the governor into calling out the guard so Obama can insert himself by Federalizing the guard. “
Not that it matters to “The One” but that would be illegal. If they were federalized, then any action they took would be in violation of the Posse Commitatus Act, if I am not mistaken. (If I spelled that wrong the spelling cops will be along shortly, LOL)
The only LEGAL way for National Guard troops to be used for law enforcement is if they are under STATE control, IE: the Governor.
I wonder if the National Guard is reliable. The Governor is proceeding cautiously. He clearly doesn’t have the police with him. Does he know if the Guard would clear the building? I wonder.
Since the bill has already passed the most difficult aspect of the legislative process getting it through the Assembly will happen. The Thugs won’t get away with stopping the legislature with mob action.
bttt for web cam
These folks are terrorists. Way past civil protesting. We can only hope that the legislators’ lives are not in jeopardy. They need to sweep for bombs before going back in.
Yup. And this is a key point about Tea Party type volunteer campaign work. You work like hell to get a conservative elected and even if you don't win the race you force the Dem donors to spend lots of money in a race they thought they owned. This takes Dem money out of other races in other districts and helps elect more conservatives overall. This is why Libs are in such a panic about the Tea Party.
Bump for an awesome strategy.
