At least she laughed.”
At least you have stations where people appear to understand English. Not so much down here-Indians, Iranians and Mexicans.
My price for comparison...$3.99/4L....4L=~1.06G
$2.99 IGA 2%
I paid 4.39 at a Harris Teeter...but that was emergency milk. Usually I buy it from BJ’s wholesale for 2.59,
I havn’t bought milk in ten years.
Yet another reason for me to move to Texas ....

The Milk Marketing Board divides the state into zones, so it isn’t uniform across the whole state.
please tell me you bought at least 10 pounds... I personally would’ve spent at least 100 bucks at that price for Rib-eye.
I didn’t notice the price of milk when I bought it a couple of days ago because I was in shock from the price of gas. $3.47 a gallon.
$3.18 @ a Walmart in NJ.
$6.79 in Princeville, Kauai.
I got about 20 pounds, two packages, the guy ahead of me had over a hundred pounds in his cart.
$2.99 in most of the major grocery chains if you purchase their in house brand.
They’re the best store around. They get the bulk of our grocery business.
$2.15 a gallon and $1.09 for s dozen eggs. I live in N Texas and buy at a dairy store called Braum’s. They keep their prices pretty reasonsable.
$2.87 in Winchester VA for 2% milk
My goat charges alfalfa hay, but it’s harder to quantify.
I have noted a MARKED increase in fruits and fresh veggies increasing the past couple of weeks, and that at WalMart.
Fresh veggies especially took a huge hit recently with the freeze that extended down into Mexico. It will 6-8 weeks before produce can be marketable size after the freeze.
