I paid 4.39 at a Harris Teeter...but that was emergency milk. Usually I buy it from BJ’s wholesale for 2.59,

I wish there was an Aldi close to me...in the DC area they had been opening them in PG county. I usually make the trek over to them at christmas...they have tons of really cheap german specialties.

The Milk Marketing Board divides the state into zones, so it isn’t uniform across the whole state.

I didn’t notice the price of milk when I bought it a couple of days ago because I was in shock from the price of gas. $3.47 a gallon.

$2.15 a gallon and $1.09 for s dozen eggs. I live in N Texas and buy at a dairy store called Braum’s. They keep their prices pretty reasonsable.

I have noted a MARKED increase in fruits and fresh veggies increasing the past couple of weeks, and that at WalMart.

Fresh veggies especially took a huge hit recently with the freeze that extended down into Mexico. It will 6-8 weeks before produce can be marketable size after the freeze.
