Agreed. He’s now a senior strategist. Let him stay there. Let the younger and hungrier conservatives have a shot at the brass ring.

I wish Newt, Huck, Romney and all would just stand down and support Sarah from the get go. Sure would help her candidacy.

I’m going to risk dissenting here and say I was impressed with him on Hannity. Elsewhere I’ve said no way, no how, at no time. But he makes some good points and compares favorably to Giuliani and Romney, by far, for whatever that’s worth. He brings something to the table I haven’t heard from too many others also considering the run. From what little I really know about him, I’d like to see him involved at least as an adviser, to be on-side, even if not getting very far with a nomination.

Newt, don’t do it, be an elder statesman, a failed
run is nothing to crow about, a run that destroys
your parties chance is a black mark.

No way, no how. Newt, give it up. There are other candidates for the vote that are more worthy; Palin and West are my choices.

Newt: Everyone thinks it has something to do with a furtive little squeaky-voiced lizard, but actually his nickname is short for "Neutered."

Which is what the GOP would be with him at the head of the ticket. Come to think of it, since the RINOs run the show, and they are eunuchs, Neut, or Newt as he prefers to be called, would be perfect for the low testosterone RNC. They can chat about Green Jobs and Global Warming. Hey how about a Barbour - Gingrich ticket? 600 lbs of total bullshiite for just one primary vote. Quite the bargain.

Big money for that other castrato, Karl Rove, too. Neut. Karl. Haley. Join hands and GoTF away.

I shall. The Wall Street Journal earnestly criticized him for his apparently opportunistic ethanol-subsidy stance, and that fit my view of him generally. Even writing objectively nice things about him above, I realize I’m possibly damning him with faint praise. Not a supporter, but I think the points he raises are worth investigating too.

YUCK; Why do these RINOS always feel that America is demanding them to run for President as a ‘savior’, they all stink..

So far I haven’t seen any Tier 1 or 2 candidates that I can (and will) enthousiastically support..

(My best choice so far consists of this list: Michelle Bachmann, Jim DeMint or Herman Cain, that’s all).
