They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.
Tomorrow will bring continued prayers of love and healing from all your FRiends.
I'm reminded of James 5:14-15 (NASB)...
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
I'm not an elder, but was a deacon in a church we attended before our move to California. Though I'm unable to be there with you, I offer up prayers and anointing with oil in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ on your behalf.
Stay the course, Jim. You are a blessing to all of us here at FreeRepublic. I count it an honor and blessing the times we have spent together up here and in Fresno.
Salute, shipmate.
I am sadly late to this thread.
Any human can empathize with the pain that Jim endures. And with the pain of his family and loved ones.
Perhaps such sufferings are afflicted by G-d. Who really knows?
Our whole family is praying that the best of medical science will help Jim.
Hugs and prayers to you, Jim,
Sincerely,
Saltus
I have valued Free Republic for a number of years now. Probably since around 2003. Thank you for this wonderful resource.
My prayers are with you tonight as I read about the challenge you are facing with such grace and honor. You are truly a GREAT AMERICAN and I pray that God will be with you and heal your wounds. Thank you for all you do and have done.
Awwww, NO!
Amy, please tell Jim we’ll be praying hard for him down in Texas, because we’re all FAMILY here and we hang tight together!

Sleep well, Jim. Jesus is in control.

((((Jim And Sheila))))
(I’m on serious meds tonight - pulled muscle - and plead drunken stupor, LOL!)
Thank you so much for the ping! I truly appreciate it.
Jim...I’m hoping you’ll see breakfast tomorrow. ;o)
You know you have many, many FReepers who are keeping their thoughts and prayers with you in mind.
I’m just one...
Keep your chin up, and your leg under wraps. If they don’t find it....;o)
Thank you so much, potlatch!
I so much appreciate your pings, especially to a thread as important as this one is.
Continued prayers for you and your leg.
Wow! Just checked in and this just dropped my jaw. I hope everything goes well for you and you are home soon in great shape. Praying for you big time.
God bless you Jim. My prayers are with you.
JustAmy,
About Garlic in my post in #1178:
I just googled for “garlic” and “wounds” and there is a ton of information about garlic being used to cure infected wounds. Garlic is both an antibiotic and antiseptic and has been used for centuries to cure infections. It was called “Russian penicillin” in World War I due to it’s use when penicillin was in short supply.

As for oregano oil, it saved me from losing my leg. I had a bad MRSA infection. No antibiotic worked, and then I took the oil and was healed in two days.
You can get oil of oregano at any health food store. It comes in a little blue bottle, “Oreganol P-73” by North American Herb & Spice, and some other brands.
Cinnamon might also work, it’s a potent antibiotic. I can’t remember how much to take, at some point you can take too much. It really works against infections, taken orally.
Amazing! YOU’RE cheering US up, while we’re busy surrounding you with prayers. We love you, Jim.
Prayers for healing for you and wisdom for your doctors to make the right decision.
BTTT
Prayers up, Jim.
Prayers for healing.
We’ll keep watching for updates thank you, and praying for you Jim.
Post #1199 was of course supposed to be addressed to Jim Robinson. More coffee needed.
