You are deluded or in serious denial.

The only democratic action in arab lands leads instantly to islamic government which is a major reason WHY they are only caliphates & dictators there.

Not worth one drop, not one dollar, of American blood or money.
The rebels would turn around and slit your throat, infidel

You’re quite naive. Firstly, you presuppose that democracies will necessarily bring about peaceful allies (Strike 1). You assume that in this “civil war” Gadahfi is the bad guy (Strike 2...at the very least you are not sure of this). It is pointless to hold onto a 30 year old grudge when letting go of it is more likely to bring about peace (Foul Tip). Supporting the anti government militias is tantamount to supporting the rebels in the next great war and the United State, France, Britain, Italy and other “western minded” nations should have non of it. War on the peaceful Gadahfi (let’s face it, he was in no position to start wars with his neighbours, nor support Islamist of which he is not one)will only serve the Islamist militants who want a United Middle East as a vanguard to conquering the West. As a no fly zone will help in the conquering of a passive American ally (in the sense that he is not with the new age jihadist)we have found the third strike (Strike 3). The policy of the West should be to support the status quo all over the Middle East and North Africa, anything else is amounts to the digging of our own graves

Well,so many were ready to count Ghadaffi out. He is a bedouin, he has tribal support. He has the ability to retake everything he has lost.

Will Obama send in the US Marinnes to help the protestors?

Ciil war is happening now in Libyah, the democarcy movement as it is called, does not havethe military ability, to atch Ghadaffi. It looks like we will become inolved IMHO, Obama is backing the reolution, and he cannoot let them lose. I thik they very well may lose.thousands will be mowed down
before this is over. Really sad.

Obama should have kept his gob shut and waited.

I agree with you completely. A humble “Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!” from me to you.

No blood for oil!

(oh, wait. that was when Bush was in office...)

Long live Islam! Death to Zion!

(it's OK - 0bama thinks Israel is the troublemaker here)

Kill 'em all! Let God/Allah/Charlie Sheen sort 'em out!

(a little something for everyone!)

The Rebel Alliance quip was a poke at the Imperial Walkers at Post #6.

BTW, I read an article a few months ago that mentioned that some of the top Taliban and Al Qaeda snipers in Afghanistan are using bolt-action Mosin Nagants. If kept in halfway decent shape, these rifles should be just as effective as most of their modern counterparts.

Sounds like a good time to see if those new fangled F-35’s are up to the task.

Let the F-22’s fly high above the action just in case those peaceful Egyptian guys try to help out their neighbor.

Did you ever see the movie The Beast, about the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan? The Soviet defector repairs a RPG launcher with the trigger assembly from an Enfield so that the Muhajadin could hunt down the T-62 (aka The Beast).

Yep!....you cannot change the mindset of the ME world until they stop living their life thru the Koran and it’s teachings. It’s just not going to be a good end in Libya no matter which sides win...they are all entrenched in Islam and not about to lay that gun down against America.

Really? How can you guarantee that the next government won’t be controlled by radical Islam just like Iran? You CAN’T. And I am pretty damned sure that Obastard isn’t going to have our operatives moving behind the scenes to put a moderate ruler in place.

I can guarantee that your pessimism is misplaced. Try this out:

Some with your handle should cheer the fall of Ghadafi.
