Madison Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs said Sunday night that protesters can remain inside the state Capitol.
"The people who are in the building will be allowed to stay,"Tubbs said. "There will be no arrests unless people violate the law."
Several hundred protesters refused to leave the building when the doors were shut at 4 p.m. as authorities attempted to get the state Capitol back to normal working hours.

She went on to say that they are considering obtaining health insurance through her husband’s employer. I hope they do that comparison. Their eyes will be opened. Her husband’s employer’s plan can’t possibly beat $300.00/month (guestimate). It will be nowhere near as comprehensive.
The other gripe she had was that this will come all at once, as apposed to being phased in over years. I asked if three years of tax increases from the previous administration qualified as part of the phase-in. That was when I left the room!
Overnight in JAIL I would hope.
How can one find out which places are those types ofunion?
With unemployment as high as it is, seems that the obvious insubordination of the Capitol police could be remedied by hiring many unemployed.
I think like a Charlie Sykes listener said, they should have TICKETED the protesters!
Apparently protesters are no longer being allowed to enter the building. Once they leave they may not return. Handling things pretty well. Death by attrition. Cold outside too. The police are not giving the protestors what they want................to be led out in cuffs in front of the cameras.
Thanks for posting this. This little item should be known by everyone, nationwide. Tubbs sons are just chips off the old block aren’t they? It’s OK to defy law and order for your personal revenge, even if you’re a law enforcement officer. No wonder Tubbs identifies with the union thugs. He has two of his own in training.
At least in my area when contract talks came up a year ago, the Union leadership were making public statements to the press and their websites several times a week. None of them were positive and all were essentially trying to intimidate and put fear regarding a strike into the employees with “red alert: strike imminent” posters on their websites. In this instance it involve a possible strike of around 30K workers.
I’m sure a Google search with the company name and union contracts should get you some results. If it is grocery retail, most likely the UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers Union) will be involved.
Conservatives need to go through the cap with a video camera and show the world what they are doing to the capitol. I have heard that they are dirty and have scratched up the beautiful expensive marble and have left stickers all over that can be very hard to remove. We need video evidence of this. These are the kinds of things that can help persuade public opinion if we are smart enough to get it out. Whenever the left has rallies they leave things terrible. When Conservatives have rallies they leave things immaculate.
Excellent out of the box thinking. We need much, much more of that. Soon the cities would be banning them because they didn't want the protesters.
You don't need to infiltrate to get The LORD to move. On Saturday I went down there with my Bible held over my head, got into their marching lines as they went around the Capitol, sometime going with them and sometimes against them and preached The Gospel loudly without shouting. At times the whole loud area I was preaching in would become very quiet and still as The Spirit of The LORD fell. I may do a thread to talk about my experience. I hope others will do the same thing. It was really quite amazing.
Thanks! Still, it’s not so “out of the box” ...
During the Revolutionary War the Second Continental Congress had to up and move a number of times.

In my county the Commissioners hold regular meetings in various locations around the county so as to better stay informed.
Yeah, well, when people get laid off in the private sector they lose the paycheck, the health care and any employer retirement contribution all in one day. Next time you see her, ask her how dealing with that would grab her.
I know she’s your relative, but if you feel inclined, please tell her that ratsreek thinks she’s nothing but a greedy, blood-sucking parasite and I hope she loses everything.
Tubbs, of course, is Amish and therefore entitled.
Walker must act now or the trust, so far engendered by his Leadership will erode.
For sure, after all the 'good Leadership' is drummed out of Military; or just resign in disgust. . .
