buddy has said that the capitol Police are now refusing to do anything. I am 270 miles away. buddy is right there, he is sending another friend to the airport area to check on the national Guard, see if anything is going on. he stated more students are coming from UW Madison, the university students will try to take over the capitol building.
Tough situation, when the capitol police depend on the local police for facilities. I don't think the governor has direct authority to fire the Madison police, and it seems a bit unfair to fire the capitol police on account of the Madison police refusal to do their job.
This will not end well.
