A liberal teacher tries to explain about the Wisconsin protests and when asked questions shows what progressives (liberals) are all about:

Liberal Teacher: "I can’t believe what is going on in Wisconsin."

Taxpayer: "What do you mean?"

Liberal Teacher: "That conservative extremist governor Walker is trying to break the unions in Wisconsin."

Taxpayer: "He is?"

Liberal Teacher: "Yes, look at the mess he created in Wisconsin. The public schools are closed. The state is not passing any bills."

Taxpayer: "Didn’t the Democrat senators flee to other states to block a vote? Didn’t the public teachers walk off their jobs while still being paid to teach? Aren't they forcing the governor to lay off teachers?"

Liberal Teacher: "They were forced to do that. That Republican extremist Walker is trying to destroy the middle class and they had to take a stand."

Taxpayer: "Didn’t the teachers unions demand that taxpayers pay for 100 per cent of their retirement and 100 per cent of their health care while the middle class has to work till 90 to pay for it?"

Liberal Teacher: "The unions are fighting for the middle class"

Taxpayer: "By demanding more money from the middle class for themselves?"

Do you mind pointing out where the website defends the Left? I missed that. Here's more evidence, although I suspect a public school defender like you will never find empirical evidence convincing. When you say that the source contradicts me, it says that no private school is immune to pedophilia. It doesn't hold public schools up to be better. Furthermore, when looking at the statistics under the "Responses to Allegations" section, realize that they are all independent of one another. The study found that there were only two incidents where the accusers were lying, yet a little under 46% of the teachers got to keep their jobs! I would assume that the study used largely public schools in their studies, simply because they serve a far larger percentage of the population and exist in greater numbers than private schools do. Maybe it didn't, but even if public schools only comprised 20% of the studies, the evidence would be damning against them. Considering public schools are what determine minimum state standards, only a dishonest DNC hack would defend them.

"BS the Catholic church has been protecting molesters for decades. No reason to believe it doesn’t go on in their schools." Ahaha, what a typical and completely idiotic statement made by public school defenders. According to you, the entire private school industry is best represented by the Catholics, which just so happen to be the worst private schools in general. (The pedophilia charge is probably overblown, too; need I remind you that the crusade against the Catholics was begun by the secular humanist media?) Furthermore, private schools actually terminate the perpetrator, since there is no union in the way. I did read my own statement. I'm not claiming that private schools are perfect, just that they are far superior to your Democrat spawning grounds known as the public schools. The evidence overwhelmingly proves my case; either you can acknowledge it, or you can stick your fingers in your ears and keep pretending that public schools are superior.

Re: “It’s even easier. I just hide all posts from friends who’s posts annoy me. I only hide since virtually all my friends are members of my extended family and I don’t want the confrontation. Even my son’s ex girlfriend. I don’t want to give her the satisfaction of knowing I’m cutting her off. Does that make sense?”

****************

It makes perfect sense, except that it’s not my being annoyed by ‘them’ that is the problem. I have no choice but to unfriend/block because a couple of them refuse to do it first == refuse to stop looking at that which bothers them on my FB pages. In other words, they want to stalk my posts, see my comments and ‘Likes’ and then whine about them and demand I retract my statements.

One former ‘friend’ would, until recently, click ‘Like’ on virtually everything else I ‘Liked’ on FB, seemingly within minutes — kind of creepy if you ask me. She complained when she thought I had unfriended her (I had not, she just didn’t look for me closely enough) or made some posts invisible to her. She would e-mail claiming: “I can’t see your ‘Wall.’ OK, so I changed it back since she sounded like she could handle it.

What it boils down to is that a few ‘friends/family members’ want me to totally STOP posting on and viewing or clicking ‘Like’ or commenting on any politically oriented FB posts by others.

These ‘friends/relatives’ foolishly think I will change and see things their way, though I’ve explained how LONG I’ve been politically active/interested and on the ‘right’ side (since childhood - 1960).

I am tired of trying to explain my positions and defending tea partiers and their goals to these nitwits. One of them, in an incoherent rant, sent an e-mail ‘dumping’ me from FB ‘friends.’ Fine — there will be no response from me this time. I’m tired of the tit-for-tat nonsense. It’s the equivalent of a child telling a friend that if she befriends someone the first child doesn’t like, that first child will not speak to the one who insists on being allowed to befriend anyone she wishes. Does that make sense?

Catholic schools are in no way, shape, or form superior to any similar school. Any school that is allowed to discriminate as to the type of student they get to take, or keep, can post great numbers. What they can’t do is teach all students, which is sad, but not surprising.

Unions do not defend a teacher arrested for child molestation, unless there is substantial evidence to suggest innocence. Even then if an arrest happens the teacher is fired as soon as the school board meets and fires them. Which is usually before they can post bail. Any failure of a school district to do this is the fault of the administration and has nothing to do with the union.

If you believe this country is a center right country, and the majority of people attend public school, then I think we produce our fair share of conservatives.

The Catholic Church produces a lot of its own wealth redistribution, open boarders types as well.
