Texas demographer: 'It's basically over for Anglos'
Houston Chronicle ^ | 02/24/2011 | Gary Scharrer

Looking at population projections for Texas, demographer Steve Murdock concludes: "It's basically over for Anglos."

Two of every three Texas children are now non-Anglo and the trend line will become even more pronounced in the future, said Murdock, former U.S. Census Bureau director and now director of the Hobby Center for the Study of Texas at Rice University.

Today's Texas population can be divided into two groups, he said. One is an old and aging Anglo and the other is young and minority. Between 2000 and 2040, the state's public school enrollment will see a 15 percent decline in Anglo children while Hispanic children will make up a 213 percent increase, he said.

The state's largest county - Harris - will shed Anglos throughout the coming decades. By 2040, Harris County will have about 516, 000 fewer Anglos than lived in the Houston area in 2000, while the number of Hispanics will increase by 2.5 million during the same period, Murdock said. The projection assumes a net migration rate equal to one-half of 1990-2000.

Most of the state's population growth is natural, Murdock told the House Mexican American Legislative Caucus today. About 22 percent of the growth comes from people moving to Texas from other states.

About 6 percent of the state's population is not documented, he said.

By 2040, only 20 percent of the state's public school enrollment will be Anglo, he said. Last year, non-Hispanic white children made up 33.3 percent of the state's 4.8 million public school enrollment...

The state's future looks bleak assuming the current trend line does not change because education and income levels for Hispanics lag considerably behind Anglos, he said....

My daughter, who is now 29 years old, was going to be suspended from a high school in Midland, TX. She had gotten into a verbal fight with a Hispanic male. I went to talk to the Principal and Vice Principal. The other student wasn’t gong to be suspended because, they told me, we have to make up for decades of descrimination. I told them that my daughter wasn’t old enough to have participated in this descrimination. I asked them what the verbal abuses were and he had called my daughter a ‘white stoner b****’; they said that was OK because she looked like one. She called him a ‘wetback’, I said ‘well maybe he looks like one’. They both walked out of the meeting!

She was not suspended. As she tells the story, she had warned them that they don’t really want to meet with me.

Tell them you have to make up for this recent discrimination, suing the school as well as them personally.

In a few years they’ll put a fence around Texas to keep the Anglos (and their tax dollars) from leaving.

“Texas demographer: ‘It’s basically over for Anglos’”

Santa Anna pretty much thought the same thing, and then a few weeks later Texans popped out all over the place and made Santa Anna history.

Cool, yes?

At Dallas Parkland Hospital 1000 anchor babies per month from illegals are being delivered...Every single month at just one Texas hospital..

You don’t have to be a senior demographer to figure out where this is going...

lol

Cali is a small state I suppose,, its still a ‘small’ border there... you are wrecked and we ( Texas ) can call you a bunch of dumbasses and get away with it... sorry gramps... you suck

Would be fun to try out my AR in .458 SOCOM. Not sure if it would be enough Gun for one of them Bad Boys.

Surely you jest. A .458 *anything* is gonna be enough gun for a hog.

The last time I went hunting wild pigs was in California, south of Hollister. I used my FN-FAL in .308 (this was many years ago when 'assault rifles' were quite rare and not at all illegal / subject to massive paranoia). I didn't feel undergunned. (I had a 20 round mag, which I guess is a bozo-no-no, but I was blissfully unaware of that fact, and only had a few rounds in the mag. The damn gun is heavy enough without carrying 1/2 a brick of .308 around with it.)

I've always wanted a .40 caliber. I really like the .416 Remmington Mag, but even Remington seems to be losing interest in it. It's big $$$ as the only guns it comes in are Custom Shop jobs.

Now I'm thinking I'll get a Marlin .444. I already load .44 mag and so can use the same bullets, I like lever actions and need a few more, it comes with iron sights, which saves a few more bucks, and would be a fine winter elk rifle in the thick, wet woods in the Oregon coastal range I hunt in now.

But I'm pretty sure your .458 will do the trick.

It holds an "appropriate" number of rounds for Oregon/Washington hunting regs as standard, too.

I was born and raised in Houston, lived there for many years I been away about 20 years. Houston is a very dangerous city.I revisted it last year and was just in a state of shocked at how much of Houston is deteriorating.Fast forward from 80’s to present day South West Houston, and the apartments that were once grandiose and home to the young up and coming professional in the 80’s - are now run-down, dilapidated, and home to either the poor, displaced, illegal, and even criminal.South West Houston, now has a lot of hispanic gang related activity going on.East End Houston looks like many of the stores and shops are all out of Mexico, with many more businesses now catering to them. I saw so many buildings with Mexico flags. Houston is rundown and reflects a 3rd world country in many parts of the city. By 2040, there will be nothing left likeable about Houston. Houston has a lot unlicense hit and runs, drunk drivers, etc,, high crime rate, drug cartels, the city in my opinion there is nothing positive about the place any more.By 2040 all the entitlement programs will of ran out of money, thus begins the creation of Mexico.Glad I will not be around to see it. The future of Texas......
On Thursday, Houston Police Officer Nainash Patel, 39, was shot twice in an early morning raid on a home believed to be used by Mexican drug cartel operatives. The narcotics officer was shot entering the home after no one responded to officers’ repeated requests.

Officers returned fire, wounding the suspect. A second man was taken into custody without incident.

Patel, who was shot once in the arm and once in the hip, was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Officer Patel has been with the Houston Police Department since 1997.

The raid was part of an ongoing nationwide sweep targeting Mexican drug cartel operations in the U.S., codenamed “Operation Bombardier.” The action is in response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata’s murder last week in Mexico by Los Zetas gunmen.

Carl Pike, assistant special agent in charge of special operations for the Drug Enforcement Administration told the Houston Chronicle: “We are not just going after Zetas, we are going after all cartels. We want all the cartels to realize this. It is the school-yard mentality — a bully situation. The cartels have pushed — if you don’t push back, you become the victim. U.S. law enforcement is not going to become the victim.”

So far, local officers and federal agents have made 144 arrests, seized drugs and $5.5 million in cash, including $1 million in the Dallas area alone.

According to the FBI, Mexican drug cartels now distribute drugs in 2,500 U.S. cities and towns.

Probably not, because our government is actively discriminating against European immigrants in favor of Muslims from third world countries. This began with Clinton and continues to this day. Look at all the Somalians in MN and NE, of all places.

Whites are not having many kids and minorities are. It’s as simple as that. Europe will be majority non-white immigrants in a few decades.
