What part of the law did he exactly break??? I know you posted a link, but what sentence specifically. I don;t think he tried to ‘benefit’, it was a prank call and the Gov fell for it. Next time he needs to be more careful

S 190.25 Criminal impersonation in the second degree. A person is guilty of criminal impersonation in the second degree when he: 1. Impersonates another and does an act in such assumed character with intent to obtain a benefit or to injure or defraud another;

Do ya think the lefty meant it for Gov Walkers good?!

The “benefit” would be obtaining an interview with the Governor of WI as well as drawing national attention/publicity to himself and his website. I think that would fit the definition of the crime. Also, posting the interview in an effort to embarrass the Governor would be considered an attempt to “injure” him which also meets with the definition of the crime

He's a reporter. Bringing down a politician is a ‘benefit’ to his career.

You would not know who Woodward and Bernstein were had they not brought down Richard Milhaus Nixon.
