If Time-magaziner-turned-WH-press-sec Jay Carney ever tires of defending Pres. Obama, Norah O'Donnell clearly seems ready to step in . . .
When on today's Morning Joe Donny Deutsch described PBO as having a passive leadership style as evidenced by his approach to Libya, health care and other issues, an indignant O'Donnell piped up, defending the president's passivity.

Exactly...we give them far too much attention.
If conservative talkers and blogs stopped mentioning that network, I think half their audience would disappear. Quite a few conservatives tune in just to watch the freak show.

I’m cool with pointing out media bias, but there should be a minimum standard to warrant mention—a certain number of viewers or something. These jokey morons are beneath the dignity of self-respecting Americans. Might as well comment on what the drunk down at the local bar had to say.

There were even people who supported Hitler and Stalin to the very end. So why is this surprising?

You’ve got it...sometimes I think the MSNBC crew just provides a convenient way for conservative talkers to fill up time.
Might as well dredge up some swill from Kos and act like it’s newsworthy.

You're right. In the early morning I'll surf between FOX, CNN, HLN and MSNBC to see what's new.
It never fails that the idiots on Morning Joe make me shake my head in disbelief.
The idiots on CNN and HLN are a close second.

The problem with people like O'Donnell is they cannot think for themselves, when they are into hero worship. If obamma were to come out and announce he thinks unions need to be outlawed, abortion should be outlawed, or tax rates needs to be lowered, people like O'Donnell will be there supporting him. It is not the message that obamma delivers that they support, it is the person himself. He can do no wrong.

TYPICAL MSNBC “NEWS” INTERVIEW
Obama is Great isn't he?
Oh he is so great!
How great do you think Obama is?
Obama is super-great!
How do you think Obama is doing in office?
Oh he is just great, he is the single most wonderful person in the world. His farts don't even stink. That's how great he is! He is the greatiest great great!
Yes he is. Why do you think Sarah Palin is so dumb?
She is a horrible, evil, witch and sacrafices babies and puppies under a full moon. She thinks that just because of all her political experience, that she is more qualified than a community organizer from the Chicago slums. Yeah right! She is a dumb and she is stupid. She is a stupid dumb. I am smart. She is dumb dumb stupid boogerhead.
Who watches this drivel? I guess it is the 10% of people who agree with this nonsense? I dunno?

I caught some of the show this morning (I thought Joe has been doing a pretty good job of covering the WI activities) and thought the reportable moment was when Donny Deutsch said that he was askeered of Gov Walker and Joe and Patsy laughed at him.
