The time for talkin' is WAY beyond OVER!
I thought about protesting in favor of our Indiana Republicans but decided that it might not be in my best interest. Too many union thugs.
Turn off the vitriol!
Slave the whales!
“She said the standoff in Wisconsin is the result of a “serious problem the nation is facing with respect to the budget crisis,” but she added: “We have to think about what’s a desirable way to have a conversation about this.”
I don’t think this lady understands the concept of minority and majority.
If you are the majority you write the bills. If u are the minority, u try to become the majority so u can then write the bills.
If ya need a break, Diana, it’s sunny in California now, but might snow in San Francisco Saturday, so make it quick.
It is time to call out the Vigilantes
I notice that Motormouth Lena Taylor is quoted by Fox. I saw her in action back in 2008 during the last budget negotiations. Sen. Bab Jauch turned his time over to her to filibuster on Milwaukee’s need for more resources for Milwaukee teachers. (She was NOT a member of the committee.) She talked all afternoon without a break. We left, thoroughly disgusted.
The union was out in force that day too, although nothing like this week. They jeered and catcalled names at anyone not on their side. I was dubbed a “Mequon Nazi” after I refused to take one of their green shirts and I told them that I was there to support the Republican minority.)
The noise in the rotunda is deafening when just a few noisy people are in there. I imagine that it is earsplitting with all the barbarians in there the past week. 2 years ago, my friend and I approached Frepublican members of the budget committee to thank them and I saw fear in their eyes until we explained that we were fellow Republicans.
A local State Rep spoke to about 50 T Party members gathered in a home near here over the weekend during a fierce blizzard. He’s tired and discouraged, but heartened at the support back home. Call your Reps and Senators and tell them that you are supporting them. I haven’t been able to get throughyet, but they need the encouragement.
