ARVADA, Colo. -- An 11-year-old Arvada boy was arrested and hauled away in handcuffs for drawing stick figures in school, something his therapist told him to do...
The school was aware that the boy was in treatment, determined he was not a threat, notified his parents and sent him back to class. His mother, Jane was shocked when Arvada Police showed up at their home later that night.
She says she told her son to cooperate and tell the truth, but was horrified when they told her they were arresting him and then handcuffed him and hauled him away in a patrol car.

Ah I confess it’s true, you baited me.
Well ptui, I spit the hook. Bye occifer Dream.
I didn’t start talking to you, to “bait” you, you started talking to me on the subject of a link to a video that you had not watched and have no intention of watching.
Rare to find someone so proud of their unwillingness to learn.
If you were a fish, would you be a Big Mouth Bass, minus one of the B’s?
Swim on. ;)
So he drew a picture of someone shooting people and wrote “Teacher must die” under it.
So he did. Yes.
Spray it on a exhaust manifold bolt. The previous effect you experienced will last hours with this product.
Well, except that the smoke appears under the engine of the car instead of out the tail pipe ~ !
More zero tolerance nonsense, getting someone’s kid arrested is one of the few things that public schools can do.
This is seriously getting out of hand, can we all agree that the governmental has too much power over the governed?
Increasingly it is becoming quite evident that our government is spinning out of control and it needs to be reigned in.
Exactly. the mom takes the kid to the therapist for ADD. The therapist tells the kid to "draw his feelings" instead of acting out in the classroom. Soon the kid is bored in music class and starts thinking about shooting some spitballs to amuse himself but remembeing his therapist's advice, he takes out some paper and starts drawing his feelings like the therapist told him. The consequence is that he gets arrested, handcuffed and thrown in a cell.
What's the moral of the story? Don't take your kid to a therapist.
Poor kid.
There is no difference between a leftist and a Nazi. England and Denver are ruled by leftists. They are looking for any excuse to brutalize the public and it’s only getting started.
These vermin need to be treated with extreme hostility at all times.
I’d be calling the parents unless other incidents warranted the police.
STAY AWAY FROM GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS.
In no way did the police belong involved in this case.
That said, clearly there were behaviour problems in school which prompted his being treated by a ‘therapist’ with regard to his disrupting class.
Since when did leftists care about the law, common sense, or little children?
They are all thugs.
“What’s the moral of the story? Don’t take your kid to a therapist.”
Good point. I’ll take it further:
Don’t take your kid to a public school!
A juvenile assessment report shows he's never been in legal trouble before and is at low risk to reoffend.
Huh?
He's at low risk to draw stuff?
Any “parent” who puts a child in a public school is stupid, evil, or both. I volunteered at an inner city public school for 2 years. The stuff that is done psychologically to these children is something I would not wish upon my worst enemies. It’s the sort of thing that turns an innocent, happy, and loving human being into a hate-filled destructively insane monster. It would have been better if these children were born in a third world slum then the so-called “land of the free”.
I don’t even want to think about what this country is going to look like 10 years from now. It will become so horrifying that it would be kinder for fate to kill them young then to let them grow to adulthood. This country means nothing to me. I believe it used to be great but now there is nothing left but oppression, cruelty, and misery.
So how many female detectives have been given the nickname “Dickless Tracy” do you suppose?
Really? I would have been kicked out of school then for all the mayhem and destruction I bestowed upon my stick figures when bored in school.
