PER CNN: Hostages were killed during Navy negotiations with the Pirates.
WHY THE HELL WERE WE NEGOTIATING WITH THEM?
A seal team bullet was all the “Negotiation” that should have been done. I SEE A WASHINGTON TWO-STEP COMING....
Because the admin wanted a "victory". They wanted to pull Jimmy Carter and hope to get press over negotiating the "safe release".
The bastards in the WH will use ANYTHING they can to manipulate the news.
Apparently there were something like 15 pirates on-board the boat. A "seal team bullet" sounds very manly and stuff, but it wouldn't kill them all -- and delivery of the bullet would have resulted in the hostages' deaths in any case.
There was never going to be a good end to this particular situation.... the question now is, will Obama use it to teach the pirates a lesson they'll remember?
