That’s what happens when you don’t get in the arena. The fight goes on without you. later Democrats, you’re in the rear view mirror...
To: Ravi
he fears Republicans may find a way to vote on a key part of the measure without them. Simple solution - get back to WI and start doing the job the taxpayers are paying you for.

I know we on Free Republic act as though we originated this idea, but it’s kind of obvious and you KNOW the (R)s have at least considered it.
Like you, I pray they’re putting it into place even as we read about the possibility. I don’t know enough about Wisconsin legislative process to understand how easy or hard it would be to accomplish, or if for some other reason it’s not possible.

If the Wisconsin Repubs have some intestinal fortitude, they should take advantage of this situation. Also, the protesters have had an entire week. Time to call out the national guard and make them go home. They should make them clean up after themselves, first.

This Wisconsin Democrap should just do his job and show up in the senate so they can vote. Or, I suspect, this Wisconsin Democrap is going to be out of a job come the next election...

1 of the 14 Democratic state senators that fled Wisconsin... This is a good sign. They have moistened their fingers and thrust them skyward in hopes of catching a glimpse of the political winds. They've realized those winds are strong and against them. As such, they're starting to crack. Politicians care only about themselves. Their reputation is being trashed with every passing hour. They are being exposed for the cowards that they are. Watch them fold like a lawn chair by midweek......and claim it's "for the children".....

The Republicans need to start taking up majority vote bills that are pet-causes for Democrats in their districts and make them all fail by one vote.

The WI senate rats have put themselves into a maze of their own making. Having to make a choice between horrendously horrible and excruciatingly unacceptable must have them twisted into tight little knots.
When they do finally return, they're all likely to be alcoholics.

I think these morons are afraid to go back they do not want to be put in jail..
I do hope these slime bags do miss the vote and hope it passes and all the doctor passing out sick notes are jailed and license revokes so they can't practice med or teach med again and if the teachers don't go back to work they are replaced and fired..The unions run this country along with Soros’s and it is time we took it back..

that Republicans could attempt to attach the part of the proposal taking away collective bargaining rights to an unrelated bill and pass it Tuesday. Oh... like when Pelosi the Pig slammed health care down our throats with the same kind of dirty tricks! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHA! Go for it, folks. Do unto others as they have done unto us...

Truth be known, collective bargaining is not the only thing he’s starting to worry about. The Republicans effectively have carte blanche while the Dems are hiding to start passing all manner of non-spending bills, many that would horrify the Dems. Dems just figured that out.
To: Ravi
"collective bargaining rights" when did that become a "right"?...
A right to hold the government hostage is a political tactic.. not a "right"..
Who is it that "they" are holding hostage anyway?..
"collective bargaining rights" by government workers is a scam or sophisticated theft.. like "a MAFIA"..

Of course the unions are gonna lose, those people are expendable, but the rich crooks on Wall St. and their never go to jail card will skate off without so much as a cross look their way. More theatrics to take our minds off what Bernanke doing to save those who did us.
