Hang in there Governor - the mafia, I mean union needs to be put down. Every person in the US who has health insurance had cost increases this year, why should they pay for their own PLUS those of teachers? Buck up teachers - pay your own damn way

Is it possible for the Republicans still bold enough to staff the House to pass a bill denying payment of sick time to those who have shut down an entire states public education apparatus...? Then fine every parent who’s kid did not report to school...?

Janitors can take attendance too... Believe it or not.

That aught really fire up the crowd.

Excellent. This puts pressure on the teachers...should they go back to school or shouldn't they?

Good idea but the problem is they are 1 short of a Quorum. Without a quorum, they can't pass anything.

If there are no teachers in class, all at these protests, can the Gov dock their pay?

Protest’n is all fun until you don’t get paid or fired.

I think Walker is using a little bit of The Art of War against Saul Alisnsky.

Excellent. This puts pressure on the teachers...

Yes, it does. Parents are forced to find - and pay extra - for day care. The older kids are roaming the streets.
How long will the tax paying parents put up with the unions nonsense?

This is also a great time to talk about vouchers.

Need to have an emergency session for the state and require all to be there, those not in attendence atomatically cast a yes vote.

Didn’t the Texas dems do the same sh!t?

The White House is urging this rebellion by the unions and encouraging its spread across the U.S. That makes the White House an insurrectionist element of the government....a high crime if there ever was one.
I urge IMPEACHMENT of this pretender president. Removal and then prosecution.

and if teachers/profs are bringing kids there and they end up injured off school grounds w/o parent permission, who gets sued? who pays for that? (yeah, taxpayers)

He should shrug and walk away with his peoples. Send the rats back on the same bus they use to exit the state; as a matter of financial expediency.

Give them what they want, it would be so cool to see how they decide who the new dear leader will be, and how such determination is made.

Let them and those who tolerate them pay whatever they say as long as they can. Screw the children, their parents likely signed a permission slip so their kids can smoke grass on a bus to a rally where their pedophile teachers/organizers be getting a piece of free tweenie bum.

I know this is outrageous.

It is also what is going on.

Hang in there Gov. Walker, we support you.

This is the first step in the process of dismantling the machine that put an incompetent boob in the white house.
Our education system is no longer interested in preparing our children to become productive members of a civilized society.
They are now nothing more than communist indoctrination centers run by empty headed leeches that only know how to feed at the public trough
and follow a pre-written script written by the NEA.

This is just a START, we have to undo 50 YEARS OF ENTRENCHED LIBERALISM.

Yes! The Texas Donkeys did the same thing. (I don't remember how TX resolved this impasse, though.)

If the WI legislature is stymied from acting, then the governor will have to FIRE state workers to balance the state $3 billion deficit hole in its budget.

I say: let the firings begin and fire twice as many useless feeders than just enough to cover the deficit.

Not true.

They only don't have a quorum for appropriations bills. A simple majority is required for all other business.

The Wisconsin legislature should still convene to conduct other business. Others have suggested that the Legislature prepare bills for right-to-work and concealed carry to lure the Democrats back.
