Mike Huckabee ranks atop the GOP presidential field, according to the latest 2012 poll, released Friday afternoon by Fox News.
Fox didn't ask Republicans whom they'd vote for; rather, it asked whether respondents thought the potential candidate in question would make a good president.
Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Sarah Palin followed Huckabee. No GOP candidate was thought to make a good president by more than 50 percent of all respondents (including Democrats, Republicans, and independents). Find the list below:

Uh-oh! Huckabee in the lead is THE sound of the GOP losing to Obama in 2012! While he's solid on social values, he really isn't other areas. Plus, he's too nice to the Dems and libs and believes in "bi-partisanship" bull.

Why on Earth do people like the Huckster????? I pray to God that this man does not get the nomination. I will be forced to vote third party......for those that say that is a vote for Obama....well get me a better candidate then and we don’t have to worry about it.

In that case and a result of this ‘poll’ I guess that Sarah Palin better hang it up. She obviously has no chance as many on FR will attest. /s

This far out and with such a weak candidate, it means absolutely nothing. I live in an area which should be part of his principal base. No one mentions him. No one even thinks of him. There is more talk of Haley Barbour.
‘Nuff said.

Guess I will have to write in who I want this year.
The GOP seems to be suicidal and going with the losers from the last time.

Face it, Huckleberry is a spineless wuss and would be putty in the hands of obama. He'd end up like McCain, telling us what a good guy Obama is and we don't need to be afraid of his second term. No thank yew.
To: Suvroc10
Recent history tells us that it’s a coalition of the main stream media and democrat operatives that decide the GOP presidential candidate.

I wonder which genius Fox hired to concoct this poll? A more worthless inquiry is hard to imagine. Ask stupid questions, and you’ll get stupid results.

Sounds like MSFox News is trying to pick the most Liberal RINO candidate.
Real conservatives have figured out that MSFox News is really just as bad as the other news networks

I will not support Huckabee. I have lived in Arkansas for several years and was here through Huck's terms. He is FAR from conservative. He increased taxes, increased spending on social programs, never stood up on social issues, and was all-around a pathetic governor. Our current governor, Mike Beebe, a Democrat, is FAR more conservative than Huck ever though about. Beebe has cut taxes (including taxes on groceries being cut by 50%). He spent his first term undoing the damage of Huckabee and Clinton.
Huckabee is not the answer we are looking for. We might as well run McCain again if we go down that road.

Couldn’t agree more. If Romney, Huckabee, Paul, Santorum, Palin(YES PALIN!!) are the BEST candidates we can come up with, a loss is guaranteed in November 2012.
WHERE IS A NEW, ARTICULATE, ATTRACTIVE Conservative nominee?
To: Suvroc10
No way.....only because we have not chosen our candidate yet.
