Definitely NOT the Bush/McCain RINO elites.

Reagan would NOT be associated with this HomoPac regardless if they were financial conservatives.

Spin duty. What a joke.

Ok.....be honest and ask yourself if you like our fiscal policy and the direction of our country.

All of you big government conservatives....be good lil sheep and follow “the party”. We are headed for disaster and our problems continue to get worse. Keep following right off of the cliff.

NIce try, RINO boy...or is that you barbara Bush?

Bush41 was forced on Reagan and the bushmeister promptly went elitist RINO to guarantee 1 term in office.

“While I disagree with Ron Paul on some issues, I think it is absolutely foolish for the conservative movement to alienate his supporters.”

Agree with you 110%.

The problem is that some libertarians are wandering in the desert and following the wrong Moses.

I was a member of the libertarian party in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The libertarian scholars did seminal work on American private property rights in that period. It was classical Jeffersonian material. Top notch. Really good.

They were also pro-self defense in that period.

Then the addled hippy pot smokers and Marxists moved in.

Do you hear now any calls from libertarians to take back our property from government?

I sure don’t. Such a call would upset the Marxist freaks who’ve infiltrated the libertarian party.

Here’s a clue for the wayward Ron Paul:

1) Jihadists attacked our private property on 9-11.

2) It’s okay to use the libertarian tenet of self-defense, defend our property and kick their asses.

Ron Paul has lost his way and is supping at the Marxist table. No true libertarian will follow him because he’s turned his back on the basic libertarian tenets and Jeffersonian principles. If you libertarians still don’t get it, please read Jefferson’s writings. He exposes Ron Paul as the fraud he is.

Sorry, that’s a fact.

Ron Paul lives in Kookville.

Just look at his “performance” in the 2008 pubbie debates.

Q.E.D.

Being right on fiscal policy is great and I wish more conservatives were as right on fiscal policy as RP... however being WRONG on National Security is NOT acceptable for a President... IMHO

Perfectly said. A CIA Director no less. I used to drink the republican kool aid. But now..... after seeing our country crumble as the result of both parties..... I will not follow any of these corrupt corporate shills anymore.

I will only follow those who espouse freedom and liberty.

I thought that is what FR is all about?

135 bases around the world is ok? What we we do in USA if China attacked and set up a base to spread Communism?

Our founding fathers had it right. And yes to all of you that are saying “it’s much more complicated”. It is that simple.

Please....to all of you that hold our US Constitution in high regards...read the Federalist Papers. Ron Paul is not perfect....but he is one of few that truly wants to follow the constitution.

Ron Paul is a gadfly.

He gets his jollies by being contrary.

Charming as it might be, that is not a policy which is suitable for governing.

In any event, Paul has no intention of being elected to anything beyond the 14th District of Texas.

I fell for this act...once (Perot '92). But never again.

“Ron Paul is not perfect....but he is one of few that truly wants to follow the constitution.”

One of the basic tenets of libertarianism was defense of private property. How about you outline all the statements that Ron Paul made to defend our private property attacked by the jihadists on 9-11.

I’ll wait....

Ron Paul is a NUT and any so-called “conservative” voting for him is also NUTS!

That’s what I thought. No substantive response. Who is really the “child here”? At least the other responses have been informative. Keep following the herd.
