I just posted this in another thread about the trailer...

'I just watched the trailor. It doesn't look bad, but I have pictures of the main characters in my head, from reading the book, and I don't see it in these actors.'

'But I will go see the movie before judging it. And also reread the book before I see it.'

The actors did not come across as what I had pictured, either. Also, it seems to me the timeline would be somewhere between the two world wars.

I was so happy to hear that they were producing this film independently of any studio, because that was the only way they could make the movie that they WANTED to make. Hollywood would have totally screwed this up. I’m very excited, and for the first time, am waiting eagerly for April 15th!

The guy I believe to be Cuffy Meigs was believable.

Impressive trailer, AFAIAC. I’ll buy the movie!
