That figurehead is head of the Intelligence Services and has run the “rendition” program for the US in Egypt. You know, the torturing of combatants and radicals for information.
Remember, waterboarding in Guantanamo is abhborent but we bear no moral resposnibility for sending people to Egypt where they are secretly tortured?
This is the lunacy and hypocrisy of the leftists.
They simply see Mubarak as an evil dictator (he is.)
They forget that he is smart and experienced, much smarted and MUCH more experienced than they are.
He is not winning every hand but he is still playing them for the fools they are. He is not longer president, but he is still in control through his hand-picked proxies.
