There isn’t a vacuum now...the military is an organization that is secular, and appears to be supportive of democracy that is in power now and has promised to provide stability and allow free elections. It is going well so far...
As long as the Egyptians SLOW DOWN, and think before they make any serious decisions. The left and the brotherhood will try to get them to knee jerk. They'll try every "crises" trick in the book. If they knee jerk, they're toast. If they take their time, there's time for them to reject the radicals and do the right thing.
Let's hope what we "hear" about the military is correct. If so, it's the only thing that will hold back the radical tide.
