We save millions of lives probably as the domino affect swings through the Middle East. This has been the strategy of our liberation of Afghanistan and Iraq all along. If I am wrong, bad things happen a little sooner, because it is a fact that we cannot stop islamic terrorists from destroying cities in the US in the long run. We have to defeat them over there and the most humane, efficient way to do that is by helping bring democracy and freedom to the people...people who are free and prosper do not usually want to kill innocent people or surrender their lives for evil.

As long as the Egyptians SLOW DOWN, and think before they make any serious decisions. The left and the brotherhood will try to get them to knee jerk. They'll try every "crises" trick in the book. If they knee jerk, they're toast. If they take their time, there's time for them to reject the radicals and do the right thing.
Let's hope what we "hear" about the military is correct. If so, it's the only thing that will hold back the radical tide.

And the primary reason we chose Iraq was that it was a relatively “easy” Middle East nation to invade and liberate, which we have succeeded in doing. The reason we wanted to do that in our war on terrorism is based upon the belief that people yearn to be free and other Middle Eastern nations would see the Iraqis free and throw off their chains of tyranny. The reason we want to do that is a free, prosperous people are not likely to kill innocent people or to die for evil causes. The reason that is important is because it is only a matter of time before islamic fanatics have the capability to destroy entire cities and kill millions at a time. Then, when that happens people will clamor for the destruction of the Middle East and we will kill millions in self defense.

So, we need to risk a bit to avoid that probably scenario from occurring because the ONLY chance we have of avoiding that kind of slaughter is what is happening right now and helping the Egyptians be free and democratic.
