I was tempted to make this a Jan Brewer-centric comment.

Instead I would like to point out the way she has dealt with the Obama administration and urge other governors to band together with her to tell the feds to go straight to hell.

The unified governors have a lot of power. If they band together and tell this administration to stuff-it, they can make it stick.

So yes, Brewer is something else, kudos to her, but more importantly it is time for the governors to team up and stand unified against this rogue government.

United they should stand. The majority of governors are Republican. What are they waiting for?

What they’ve done on health care, is a great start. Now, on to the border issues.

They should join her suit against the feds as soon as the ink is dry.

This is exactly what needs to happen...

Good analysis DoughtyOne. I suspect that there is more than a little “business as usual” for many governors. They can see what dire straits their respective states are in, but can’t quite make a break from “the old ways” of federal bailouts (yet). Hard choices are ahead.

Here’s to more of them joining Arizona....and Texas in standing up to Øbongo & co.
