No great surprise here, really; Palin has quietly backed the end of DADT and expressed support for conservative gays and lesbians in the past. Speaking here with David Brody from the Christian Broadcast Network and excerpted by Breitbart TV, Palin doesnt endorse GOProud but does defend their attendance at CPAC, and argues that the value of events such as CPAC is to debate the issues and provide as much information as possible to attendees:

It’s poor forum etiquette to drag an argument from one thread to the next.

I was think that a minute ago. People are so hysterical here defending the once-hated DADT that Clinton proposed.
Some people need to get a grip, or at least a faint hold on reality.

It’s the same argument; and therefore, allowed. Imho, of course.

Its poor forum etiquette to drag an argument from one thread to the next. Unless its relevant.
And your boy pissant has been dragging an argument apparently regarding a Bachmann thread repeatedly on this thread so your umbrage is duly noted as being selective.

A conservative gay is very welcome as far as Im concerned. There's no such thing as a "conservative" homosexual.

But when it comes to and David, perhaps what it is that youre suggesting in the question is should the GOP, should conservatives not reach out to others, not participate in events or forums that perhaps are rising within those forums are issues that maybe we dont personally agree with? And I say no, its like you being on a panel shoot, with a bunch of the liberal folks whom you have been on and you provide good information and balance, and you allow for healthy debate, which is needed in order for people to gather information and make up their own minds about issues. I love Sarah, but sometimes her statements require a re-read.
Translated, I think it means:
"Should conservatives avoid gatherings that include those with whom we don't always agree? I say 'no,' because, in my opinion, spirited debate is healthy."

Classifying everyone in a group as being the same as the worst member is ridiculous.
There are conservative gays. I know some.

I don’t think that fact is getting through to everyone. Denial? Investment? It’s a mystery to me.

That is one of my reasons for not going off the deep end for Palin. However, the biggest, is still the fact that she propped up John McCain on the stage of the Tea Party Rally in Arizona, called him a “Great Conservative” and Tea Party candidate, and she repeatedly endorsed him in FOX interviews, and McCain's own campaign adds.
And mostly, since she was a big reason he was reelected, she betrayed every one of us. Because McCain has since betrayed us as he ALWAYS has in the past. (Which again, illustrates her not understanding Conservative principles.)
