US special envoy Frank Wisner has said that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak should remain in power to oversee a transition to democracy.
The remarks appear to contradict previous US calls for Mr Mubarak to begin an immediate transition.

Wisner’s father, Frank Wisner Sr., was the CIA agent portrayed in the film The Good Shepherd. Wisner was previously married to Christine de Ganay, former wife of Pal Sarkozy, the father of French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
Every time Obama butts his arrogant head into another power structure, he starts demanding other people remove themselves from their positions of authority because Obama happens to have his idea.
It’s as if he thinks he is Obe one Kenobi and projects his thinking into the mind of his opponent unopposed, as though his will of volition overcomes all other thinking souls.
They used to lock people away in straight jackets for that sort of behavior.
In an attempt to throw water on Wisner’s remarks we have this from the BBC:
2043: US State Department spokesman PJ Crowley: “We have great respect for Frank Wisner and we were deeply appreciative of his willingness to travel to Egypt last week. He has not continued in any official capacity following the trip. The views he expressed today are his own. He did not coordinate his comments with the U.S. government.”
You are welcome. But BHO is much, much worse than Nixon. Nixon, wherever his shortcomings as president, was an American and did indeed love his county. I view BHO as a alien interloper bent upon diminishing all that has made America a great nation. He is an absolute disaster as president.
It does make one wonder what kind of convincing and persuasion Barry’s team had to dance through to get him to reverse course. One doesn’t imagine Barry was pleased—or that it was pleasant to be one of the messengers.
They do need food and water, the others are purely optional in a third world country.

Also, notice how the media isn’t mentioning the report from the UK about how Obama betrayed British nat’l security and strategic interests to the Russians? That should be front page news.
