Have you heard anything more about your nephew? There are other Americans who have opted to remain there thru this crisis as well. A contractor has established a home and lifestyle for five years...he could not take his dogs with him either and may loose his job for staying.

If he is staying is there someone way outside the city where he can flee if he needs to?
