URGENT: Gunfire heard in Cairo's Tahrir Square as supporters of President Mubarak and anti-government demonstrators clash hours after the embattled leader defiantly said he would serve out his term in office.

This is usually interpreted to have been fulfilled many centuries ago. There are portions of Isaiah chapter 19 that have been fulfilled in modern times, such as verses 16-17 being fulfilled during the Six Day War of 1967. There are also portions of Isaiah chapter 19 that have yet to be fulfilled, such as verses 23-25.
Vince Flynn is awesome. His “Mitch Rapp” character is my hero. On a personal note, my best friend’s eldest daughter went to college with him at St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Says he is a great guy and strong Christian. All of his books are ‘must reads’. He actually thinks that busted knee caps and waterboarding are a good thing for terrorists.
I agree.

Egypt’s most influential opposition group, the Muslim Brotherhood, says it will enter talks with officials on ending the country’s political crisis.
The group told Reuters the talks would begin on Sunday and would assess how far the government was “ready to accept the demands of the people”.
The negotiations would be the first ever to be held between the government and the officially banned Brotherhood.
President Hosni Mubarak has rejected protesters’ demands that he quit now.
Mr Mubarak - who has been in office since 1981, tolerating little dissent - has said he will not stand in elections due in September.
Huge crowds have been on the streets of Cairo and other cities in the past few weeks demanding his immediate resignation and calling for democratic reforms.
The Muslim Brotherhood had previously said it would not take part in negotiations between the government and opposition groups.
But a spokesman told Reuters: “We have decided to engage in a round of dialogue to ascertain the seriousness of officials towards the demands of the people and their willingness to respond to them.”
A spokesman told the AFP news agency the dialogue was also aimed at ending “foreign or regional interference” in the situation.

Say WHAT?
Can someone decipher who is setting THAT particular agenda? IS that the idea of the government or MB?
I sure hope the adults in the Egyptian, American and Israelis militaries are in charge- cause it’s apparent that no one else is...
Mubarak caved to Zero’s wants?
Just quickly checking in. Got to thinking about the phrasing being used, “Day of Rage” and decided to do a little studying on it. Low and behold, ran across this old thread from FR

Fascinating to connect dots. Seems the Russians connected a few for us, too.

All is becoming very clear.
Really want to encourage everyone to read this PDF if you haven’t already. It puts things in a new light for USA/Islam relations. Start at page 15.

You know, I’ve been thinking. Isn’t it time to say to the hippies— you’re old fashioned, man! Give it up! Your glory days are over! It is so YESTERDAY to go around railing at the MAN! Evolve a little, will ya! Come on!
Their little baby fits are really getting tiresome, and this time their acting out is causing those of us who aren’t stuck in the 70’s some real headaches.
Okay. Rant over. Yes, yes, I know, there are those who were hippies then that are tea party folks now. I’m not talking to them. They HAVE evolved. So don’t stone me....
Anyway. Now, I am going to take a deep breath, count to ten, and go to sleep.
Thanks everyone, for the input. This is a really great thread.
Sorry for another ping but..PLEASE take the time to listen to this when you get a chance- thanks to hoosiermama!

@andersoncooper It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to leave #Egypt. CNN continues to have many teams in place. It was a hard decision to leave
Could you please add me to your ping list?
Anti Mubarack demonstrations were also shown this evening on MSM in New York City, I think at the UN.
Here is the latest update from AOL on Obama’s current viewpoint.
In 2006, “Dems stayed and passed all kinds of horrible stuff.” So did Bush veto the horrible stuff or not???
My response shoud be *unreal*, but it’s not.
Dear God. He’s a complete traitor.
BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!
For him to purposefully undermine the stability of Egypt and back the MB, there can be no more doubt. He’s much worse than I ever comprehended, something I did not think possible.
Sure I’ve missed some people who may be interested, but hopefully they will see it anyway.
I advise NOT contacting anyone in Egypt via SMS, twitter, or similar means unless you really need to. A number of people have reported that there are concerns that they are being targeted based on frequency and material of their outgoing and incoming messages. In addition, some people outside Egypt are commenting on sudden problems with their computers, internet connections, etc, after being in communication with those on the ground in Egypt. Maybe it’s just paranoia, maybe it’s a conspiracy theory. But maybe it’s not. I’m locked out of my wireless right now for some odd reason, and it happened shortly after I contacted a few people in Egypt. My computer also shut down when I hardwired it into my router. More than likely it’s a fluke, after all I AM techno-retarded, but the fact that OTHER people have reported issues makes me want to be cautious. Figured I would pass along my paranoia to everyone else.
Indeed. Hillary’s right with him, too.
BUMP and thank you for all your efforts on behalf of all of us. I don’t have anyone to contact. I am just praying for all the good people involved.
