Stunner. Muslim Brotherhood Announces They Will Support El-Baradei

The radical Muslim Brotherhood announced moments ago that they will support Mohamed ElBaradei to negotiate with the government.

Reuters reported:

Egyptian opposition forces have agreed to support opposition figure Mohamed ElBaradei to negotiate with the government, a leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood said on Sunday.

“Political groups support ElBaradei to negotiate with the regime,” Essam el-Eryan told Al Jazeera television.

Al Arabiya television carried the same report on screen but did not attribute it directly to Eryan.

ElBaradei, the former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, came back to Egypt on Thursday night, just in time for the “Day of Anger” protests which have left President Hosni Mubarak clinging to power with the army in the streets. ARAB TV CHANNELS QUOTES EGYPT’S BROTHERHOOD FIGURE ESSAM EL-ERYAN SUPPORTING ELBARADEI TO “NEGOTIATE WITH REGIME”

El-Baradei has a long history with the Muslim Brotherhood. The Daily Beast reported:

Egypt’s new opposition leader, former International Atomic Energy Agency head Mohamed ElBaradei, has formed a loose alliance with the Brotherhood because he knows it is the only opposition group that can mobilize masses of Egyptians, especially the poor. He says he can work with it to change Egypt. Many scholars of political Islam also judge the Brotherhood is the most reasonable face of Islamic politics in the Arab world today. Skeptics fear ElBaradei will be swept along by more radical forces.

Mohamed ElBaradei is tool, and he’ll be the MB’s tool.

I like what a FNC analyst said this morning. They’re backing him, a guy who lives in Vienna who’s familiar with the international scene, because there’s no one locally that will side with them. I hope that’s true, and that the locals establish something less than a theocracy.

Mohamed ElBaradei has considerably more power and authority in the Middle East than is generally recognized. He is, for instance, one of the few men outside the ranks of the Iranian government who really knows where the nukes are, how many of them there are, and how they might be used!

Not a surprise.

Elbaradei has long voiced support of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Elbaradei has always been surprisingly accommodating to the Islamist agenda, wherever and whenever he has encountered it.

The only surprise is western commentators who are surprised.

Why is this a stunner? It’s pretty obvious that they’ll use ElBaradei to overthrow Mubarak and then kill him and take over themselves.

And the circle is closed. El-Baradei is a principal apologist for Iran and has done more than almost anyone in covering for the Iranian nuclear weapons program. If Iran and Egypt were to come together against the West and Israel, a regional or world war could well be the result. Those who say that Persians and Arabs could not unite underestimate the power of Islam against the infidel.

My bet is that Egypt will be ruled by a radical Muslim theocracy by the end of 2011.

This is one of those "peace in our time" types. The muslims will use him as a decoy while they metastasize like a cancer throughout Egypt.

Mrs. Lurkin says Fox News reports that Mo will “march in the streets” today. If so, then he may not live another 24 hours.

All his new found terrorist friends need do is find some nut to shoot him and it will be blamed on Mubarak. A win-win for them as they can claim to have been his ally but never actually have to share power.

I agree. Egypt is Obama’s version of Iran.

“Why is this a stunner?”

I’m pretty sure it’s sarcasm.

This is not a surprise, this is to be expected.

EB is a tool/stooge of Iran.

He is testing his power by calling for Mubarak’s resignation today.

We’ll have to wait to see how big a reaction he really gets. If it’s big, that’s bad news I think.

It doesn’t stun most FReepers. We have known for years that ElBaradei was an agent of the Islamists and anti american left. He has worked for decades to undermine US interests and facilitate a Muslim nuclear bomb!

He now gets his reward...Egypt!

Anyone know if this is true?

I read somewhere that El-Baradei was a Copt.
Which is interesting if true! The Moslem Bortherhood politically backing a Christian? An obvious move on their part to paint themselves with a thin veneer of reasonableness. Which I am sure will convince the Lame Stream Media that the MB are just simple agrarian reformers.

How long before these faltering countries start merging to a single entity under a single ruler? An how long before they decide to rid the region of Israel?

In my wildest dreams these countries would rid themselves of the hard line islamists so they could live in peace but reality is that the islamists will like gain control of everything.

Is it 3am yet?

THIS IS A PLANNED MUSLIM TAKEOVER OF EGYPT AND OBAMA IS SUPPORTING IT

What facts do I have? none.

But do you want to bet $1million dollars? I’ll take every bet
