Our new National Poll shows that Mitt Romney could beat Barack Obama in 2012. In our national poll conducted this week, we asked voters where they stand with Obama and the 2012 Presidential election. First, our poll showed Obama with a 46% approval rating and 54% disapprove. Which is a -4% spread from Real Clear Politics approval average. Overall though, Obama still beats all GOP candidates in a general election.

Probably as about as reliable as a cnn poll.

Once again the media is trying to steer voters towards certain individuals with a plethora of polls.

Willard is a rat whit an “R” by its’ name.
Two democrats, one with a D and the other with an “R” would make the MSM happy.

Politico is propaganda - the less they are used as a source for anything, the better.

According to the site, it is a “telephone survey”
by “Random Digit Dialing” of Romney’s Mormon and DNC friends.

Romney will never beat Obama. Running Romney takes ObamaCare off the table as an issue because of RomneyCare in Massachusetts...which means you have a campaign of one side blaming Obama....while the other blaming Bush...for the economy
In 2008, the GOP hurt itself running John McCain....which took Illegal Alien Amnesty off the table as an issue....that is the one issue where you can bring in the “Reagan Democrats” who are against Illegal Alien Amnesty. Big mistake running McCain
In 2012....the more conservative...the better....for the GOP.

The second that ObamaCare passed, Romney was dead politically.
If Establishment Republicans are too inept to see that, then 2013 will be the year that TeaParty goes political party.

They know exactly how they can beat Romney, that’s why they are pushing him. They loved Dole and they loved McCain. That’s all you have to know.

Also it seems that their electoral vote count for some of the states on their 2012 projection map are not correct. They have Florida and NY with 29 electoral votes. Florida currently has 25 electoral votes, with a pick-up of 2 more electoral votes this year as a result of reapportionment. Giving Florida 27 electoral votes for 2012. NY currently at 29 evs, loses two seats to census reapportionment, and will have the same number of evs as Florida in 2012, with 27 electoral votes.

"Politico is propaganda - the less they are used as a source for anything, the better." Indeed it is, but this, apparently is the conservative answer. Check the link....the full name is "POLITICONS (politically conservative)"

Not if he has to prove that he is eligible.

The problem with all polls is they are comparing apples to watermelons at this stage. Palin has been attacked non-stop for 2 years her negatives are up because of this. ALL the other GOP candidates have not had this done to them YET. They will have it done to them as soon as one of them wins the nomination or if the primary gets nasty. Thus their numbers will APPEAR higher than Palin’s numbers at this stage but those numbers are a mirage. In fact by the end of the primary I would think the numbers would flip since the gop candidates will be subjected to bad press for the first time and Palin will have cash and reason to put out positive ads to counteract the negativity.
So to me polls are meaningless at this stage and one should instead look at other things like book sales, crowds at speeches, TV ratings, clicks, comments in threads etc to gauge a candidate's real level of support.
