Our new National Poll shows that Mitt Romney could beat Barack Obama in 2012. In our national poll conducted this week, we asked voters where they stand with Obama and the 2012 Presidential election. First, our poll showed Obama with a 46% approval rating and 54% disapprove. Which is a -4% spread from Real Clear Politics approval average. Overall though, Obama still beats all GOP candidates in a general election.

Now that’s something I didn’t know - thanks!

What does the red and blue represent? Not Senate. Not a prediction of how it will go.
To: Brilliant
Presidential Prediction [electoral college] as of 12/25/10. Red being Republican - Blue being democrat.

Some of those don’t seem very likely. What’s the purple, then?

Nebraska.... Nebraska which has some EC votes assigned by congressional districts.

I have difficulty believing that Arkansas is going to vote for Obama after it ousted Blanche Lincoln so forcefully, or that Nevada is going to vote for Obama, after he told businesses to stop going to Las Vegas.

Never heard of that poll. Stick with Zogby and Rassmussen.

That’s 12 more votes to the GOP total if they go that way. Just increases the winning margin.

My pet snail should be able to beat this sorry excuse for a president.
* I changed pet “rock” to snail because I was afraid the pc police might accuse me of instigating violence.

Yea, I gotta agree with you. If the Repubs run a RINO or establishment candidate they are toast. I just don’t understand why they can’t see this. Maybe it will be for the better.

When I see maps like this, I wonder why we don't control the Senate.
Republicans have had more states for election after election. Senate is a state wide vote, so why do we have as many democrat senators as we do? That needs to end with the next election.

We gained this past election and with a lot more ‘crats up in 12 than ‘pubs we may cross the line into control. There are 21 ‘crats, 10 ‘pubs and 2 independents up in 12 if I have the numbers correct. That offers a good chance to gain control.

National Review's Kathryn Lopez, in the midst of the Middle East crisis has time to carry water for Romney on NRO's TweetTracker...
"mitt romney possible skipping iowa if he runs strikes me as a good business decision. unconventionally underscores his strong suit."I woulda thunk KL's kneepads were worn out from the '08 campaign, but it looks like she got a brand new pair.

Thanks deport. I put this together to help. I will make it clearer later, but please feel free to distribute it. It helps to visualize (or target) who is vulnerable.
A lot of dems should get voted out and hopefully some RINOs like snowe will also. I would be willing to swap a D for her seat, just to keep her from screwing things up so badly. We should make up enough elsewhere to be able to do without her traitorous behavior.

You may want to move Kyle from AR to AZ. Otherwise great idea and map.

I think anyone with an “R” next to their name, who is known to the public...would beat Obama.... right now. This means nothing in the context of 2012.

Romney’s plan is to renounce his religion sometime this year. It won’t work and he shouldn’t do it.
