Oh yes, the bay of Fundy. You got a minute? I have a funny story about St Johns. Hubby's band played on the Bay Front in St Johns for Canada's Bi-Centennial celebration. Huge crowd there on the bay. After they played they were signing autographs, selling t-shirts, etc. As my hubby put it, he was approached by the Sea Hag. Stringy hair, no teeth, warts. She says to him, "I got a boat." Hubby: "That's nice." Hag: "I got beer". Hubby: "That's nice." Hag: "Want to go to my boat and drink beer?" Hubby: "No thank you, I don't drink, but you see my guitar player over there? He likes beer, go ask him."

Five minutes: guitar player comes running up to Hubby, "Why did you do that?" Hubby: "Do what?" Guitar player: "sic that ole hag on me!" Hubby: "Well she wanted somebody to go drink beer with her on her boat. Didn't you want to go?" Guitar Player: "NO!" Hubby: "Why not?" Guitar Player: "I was afraid she would git me out on that boat and tell me to put out or git out....and I cain't swim!" LOL

I never think of St Johns or the Bay of Fundy without thinking of that and getting a chuckle.

Now that funny.

The thing is about Fundy nobody would believe you if you told them when the tide comes in it travel about a 3/4 of a mile on to the shore and the tide itself is a least 10 ft deep.
