The thing is about Fundy nobody would believe you if you told them when the tide comes in it travel about a 3/4 of a mile on to the shore and the tide itself is a least 10 ft deep.
Fundy is tied for the title of highest tide in the world. It is so high that it causes the St John River to flow backward. St John is really a great town, especially the waterfront where they restored all the old buildings and made a mall out of them.
