As most, if not all of you know, our FReepathon was immediately suspended when Jim informed us of the sad news that his cherished sister had passed away last Tuesday evening.
We all prayed for Jim and his grieving family and for his sweet sister's soul, knowing now, she is with Him in everlasting life, singing with the Angels.
Thank you all for your prayers and sweet sentiments. Jim read them all with deep and sincere appreciation.
Jim has asked me to revive the FReepathon, so please, dear FReepers, Let's GIR R DONE & PUT THIS BABY TO BED!

Okay......time to jump in. $20 for the Freepathon. Take it from the same source as my monthly donations. One time only(until the next Freepathon). Come on West Va. you guys are an embarrassment. Surely you can afford $5 or $10 a month. It's a shame to be at the bottom of the list. Don't you have any pride? You spend more than that on lottery tickets in a day. Think of all you gain from FR. Think of all the work it must take to keep this behemoth going. You try herding 200,000 opinionated conservatives. Come on, set up those monthlies and let's put an end to these Freepathons.
Yes but....681 monthly donors out of 200,000 people is pitiful. I'm very proud of those who are donating monthly. God bless you every one, but I find it hard to believe that the other 1,993 Freepers are poverty stricken. I know that donating is strictly voluntary, but it's puzzling that so many think nothing of logging in to FR every day to get news from all over the world and believe that it happens without expense. Jim has kept FR going through lawsuits, floods, equipment breakdowns, lack of sufficient power, flame wars, opui, and things we probably never think of. Shame on anyone using Jim's site without feeling some obligation. That's my rant and I'm sticking to it.

I know you guys think I’m spinning tales, but really, my husband had a blue & gold Macaw when we first met in Miami, FL. It was trained to do all sorts of tricks. Hubby worked at one time at the Parrot Jungle in Miami putting on shows with the trained birds. Honest. Someone had called the jungle to have someone come and pick up a Macaw that was “going rogue” in their screened porch. Those things can bite hard. Hubby went and walked up to the bird and put his arm up under the front of him. Harry, the bird, started to bite him and he whacked him across the beak, then put his arm up under his chest again and Harry politely stepped onto his arm. Parrot Jungle told him to keep it, they didn’t want any rogue birds. So Harry became his constant companion. until I came along. That bird hated me. Jealous. He was sold to another bird place South of Miami to provide Hubby enough money to follow me to TN after I left Miami. True story. I won out over the beloved bird. Ha.
