I would bet that Islamic militants are pouring into Egypt from all over the middle east right now.That 2000 could be 20,000 in a day or 2.

You spread the popular myth that the Embassy’s and other Diplomatic Missions are protected by Marines. Marines are there.... While the protection of human life in omni important, they are there to protect the informmation assets which we do not want to fall into other nation’s hands. Without Marines, a diplomatic mission must close down com’s and lock up the building - with Marines, our operations are 24/7.
