Hence the last line of my post. Israel has in the past made it clear both by word and more importantly by action in 1968 and 1973 that so long as they stood a chance in a conventional conflict the conflict would stay conventional. But if they are being overrun by Islamic fanatics bent on another Holocaust, well things are likely to get radioactive.
