Those Fox ‘reporters’ are mostly committed lefties who support all things Islam.

Suez Canal Closure Concerns Go Viral
ZeroHedge ^ | 1/28/2011 | Tyler Durden

Shockingly, the “pundits” have suddenly realized that courtesy of the upheaval in Suez, the canal with the same name may be closed, which would wreak havoc on shipping costs. [snip]

What many “clueless” on this thread have said is that maybe the age of tolerating “benevolent” dictatorships is over. It always ends like Egypt today.

I assume you “clueless” idealists were 4-square behind George Bush then, because he tried to end the “age of tolerating dictatorships” in 2003. Look at the price he and we have paid for that. Thousands of good soldiers dead, a trillion of our treasure spent, subversive democrats who preferred dishonor and defeat to victory by a Republican president, and people of the world and a hard core 1/3 of Americans.... cheering for the inept weak barack hussein obama

Your post is right on. I might add that revolutions most often end poorly. Polands are rare.

I bet you are sad that you won't be paying a brutal dictator anymore... Maybe you can get Ahmadinejad or the Muslim Brotherhood's PO Box and mail them a check.

The USA should not be paying dictators or terrorist groups. We should be opposing them on the field of battle!

Please note that the timeline link I posted has to be unraveled for its Leftist bent, but there are some good facts in there.

Here’s the MB’s ‘Global Daily Report’: http://globalmbreport.com/

‘Cute’ little slogans appear even more foolish and childish during times like this. Looks like he’s conducting a silly insignificant pep rally. Winning the future Hope and change

Yep, makes me think of the scene in Blazing Saddles, where the guy is talking about 'Hoof and Mouth disease becoming a thing of the past', and the other guy cutting him off and saying, "Never mind that s--t, here comes Mongo!"

So, Sarah Palin is an amateur? Great, in that case I'd gladly take an amateur with core principles and a real love for America over the motley crew of appeasers and know-nothings currently in charge.

Ditto. Until R9 can offer someone better, he's just whining.

Gee I thought we were handing out post 911 ass kickings without leaving too much of a power vacuum.

I was young, but married with young children when I watched the Ayatolla land in Iran. I knew for some reason that it was a very bad thing even tho I knew not much about politics and even less about the world and the Middle East. It just felt like a bad thing in a way I could not really put words to. This has that feel to it. I would like to be wrong.

Frmr Amb to Egypt Walker says on CNN that we need Egypt, Egypt needs us, but we probably don’t need Mubarek. Unemployment is 20 percent among young people. They want hope and change.

CNN asking him why US didn’t install a loyal opposition years ago.

I hate to say this, but my first thought was, "How is Obama going to milk this crisis for a few poll points?" Maybe people are just sick of dictators and oppressive centralized governments. Just maybe?

And God help me, I don't know who that person might be.... I just know who it's not, and it's none of the idiots who currently dominate the GOP presidential polls.

The only one is Reagan, and he's not available. We are in a heap of s#it.

I'm a little confused at the moment- am hearing that the military (supposedly Mubarak ally) appears to be greeted by the demonstrators warmly- with open arms.
